"On Sept. 26, 2006, Victoria Anne Simmons for some unknown reason chose to come early and unfortunately did not survive," his statement said. "We must accept whatever is there and once you accept unconditionally, then everything is beautiful. Every pain has a purifying effect. So whatever comes your way, just be thankful. We see life in death and believe in the celebration of life in death."

"While I was growing up, my mother set a good example for me, which included eating right and drinking milk," said Tina. “I have passed that on to my daughters, and now my grandson. Keeping ourselves busy with the clothing line and Beyonce's new movie, we manage our weight by watching what we eat and drinking milk is a big part of that."

Terrell Owens denied a police report he attempted suicide, saying he became groggy after mixing painkillers with supplements.
He said Wednesday the confusion likely stemmed from an empty bottle of pain medication found by his publicist, who was with him at the time and called 911. He said the rest of the pills were in a drawer.
“I was non-responsive when she made that call,” Owens said. “She made the call out of her judgment for my well-being.”
Owens blamed a combination of hydrocodone, a generic form of Vicodin, with all-natural supplements for making him ill.
“It’s very unfortunate for it to go from an allergic reaction to a suicide attempt,” he said.
Owens was released from the hospital before noon. He flashed a thumbs-up to reporters as he left, went home, then made it to team headquarters in time to catch passes from quarterback Drew Bledsoe.
If you are a fan of the MTV Show Run's House, then you know the last season ended with Justine being pregnant with what she hoped was a girl, unfortunately she has suffered a terrible loss. After watching both seasons you feel like you know the family on some level and so it is such sad and shocking news...A rapper's wife gave birth Thursday, but the scene quickly turned to tragedy after their newborn girl was pronounced dead.
Rev Run, a.k.a. Joseph Simmons, shocked fans last year when he announced that his wife Justine was pregnant on his MTV reality show "Rev's House."
Justine's pregnancy was the cliffhanger on the MTV show last season. It generated intense interest among viewers who have been anxiously following the pregnancy and awaiting the birth.
Simmons, a member of the legendary rap group Run DMC, was at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood New Jersey Tuesday for the birth of his child. Doctors delivered the baby via c-section, revealing a cruel twist of fate -- the baby girl was born with organs outside the body. The newborn died a short time later.
TMZ has learned that MTV cameras were inside the hospital at the time of the birth, though we do not know if they were in the delivery room.
This story could very well be a hoax. MTV themselves (who were reportedly at the hospital) does not have this news posted anywhere on their website. This is also not in any other news other than TMZ. Also, the Simmons daughters were spotted out partying with T.I. this weekend and that is suspicious to me seeing that the baby reportedly died Thursday night. If someone decided to make up a story like this, they have a special place down under. Developing...

It was basically a list of songs that I put together about the past three years of my life, with love and relationships," Rowland said of the album. "And I remember listening to the record, and I was just like, 'I don't want this to be too deep to where, you know, [I] lose people.' I still wanna have my party records, and I still wanna make people get up and bob their heads and vibe a little bit. And the record was too full of midtempos and ballads, so I wanted to bring it up a little bit. I mean, I'm 25. I'm young!
n general, I'm going in the urban, more R&B route," Rowland said during a break from the Garrett sessions. "Of course, that's what I started with with Destiny's Child, [but on] my first solo album I did more of a pop-sounding record. So I wanted to go back to my roots and dibble and dabble with some beats.

Flamboyant Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens attempted suicide by overdosing on pain medication, even putting two more pills into his mouth after fire rescue personnel arrived.
A Dallas police report released Wednesday morning said Owens told rescue workers “that he was depressed.” The report was first released by WFAA-TV.
The rescue worker “noticed that (his) prescription pain medication was empty and observed (Owens) putting two pills in his mouth,” the police report said.
The worker attempted to pry them out with her fingers, then was told by Owens that before this incident he’d taken only five of the 40 pain pills in the bottle he’d emptied. The worker then asked Owens “if he was attempting to harm himself, at which time (he) stated, ‘Yes.”’

And the source told us, "[Miss Jones] was having trouble dealing with her weight gain ... she was becoming really nasty to everyone, including guests." But a few weeks ago, according to our source, Miss Jones decided to take a dramatic step. Our tipster tells, "she told everyone at the station that she was taking a leave for medical reasons - but word quickly got around that she was having her stomach stapled."
And the stomach stapling couldn't have happened at a better time. According to our tipster, Miss Jones' weight was beginning to cause problems at the station. Our source explains, "when [Miss Jones] is on the air she sweats a lot and some days it gets really musty in the studio." The source went on, "the heavier she got, the worse the studio smelled ... one time another DJ complained and we had to leave the door open so that the studio could air out."

New York attempteded to read the Flav-O-Gram with her best impression of a dramatic actress, and well that hoe can't read! Since they were "Slicking" [err-umm, maybe "Slicing"] things up, Flav planned on taking Krazy and Delishis on the first overnight date to Long Beach and New York and Bootz are headed the country with Flav the next day.
Deelishis does an on point impersonation of New York and points out her inability to read...all while New York goes upstairs in a typical New York temper tantrum and cries about how hurt she would be if Flav doesn't pick her again this season. [Well that would just make good TV]
In the process of the ass-watching, Flav manages to lose an earring. So Deelishis gets down to help him look for it and end up with their tongues in each others' throats. Krazy gets all jealous and jumps in and takes over. Deelishis get sea-sick and heads to the bottom to toss her lunch. This gives Krazy all the time to get Flav's attention.
Flav takes them to dinner and asks them how they feel about him and
Krazy goes first. She gives her high school musical rendition of the "I really like you" speech in a long planned out monolouge. Deelishis rolls her eyes the whole time. The subject of her singing comes up and he asks her to
To add insult to injury, he tells Krazy bye and calls her Deelishis on accident...[Deelishis got a kick out of that] Krazy, of course, is in tears, but she says it's because she's mad at Deelishis for being two-faced.
"Call me when you get sick of these hoes."

Looks like times are getting hard already!?Now that Whitney Houston has filed for divorce, R&B crooner Bobby Brown has to plan for a future without a rich wife.
I hear that the 37-year-old Brown -- who reportedly has been staying in L.A. with "Video Vixen" Karinne Steffans since separating from Houston -- would appear on the African-American-oriented cable channel TV One only in exchange for a car.
Producers of the TV One reality series "I Married a Baller" -- an inside look at the marriages of sports figures -- invited Brown last week to have an on-camera lunch with former Tennessee Titans player Eddie George and his wife, Brown's old friend Tamara (Taj) George of the R&B group SWV.
"When he asked for a car, we actually thought he meant for us to book him car service, and I told the producers to set it up," the show's executive producer, Datari Turner, told Daily News contributor Jawn Murray. "But then I was told that he actually wanted us to buy him a car!"
Brown's longtime friend and occasional rep, Ray Pouncey, told TV One that Brown was new to Los Angeles and didn't have wheels, so a car would be the ideal payment instead of an appearance fee. Brown apparently wanted Taj to formally present the vehicle to him on the show as a gift.

September 23rd the Boost Mobile RockCorps Concert went down at New York City's Radio City Music Hall. The Boost Mobile RockCorps organization uses music to help kids see that it's cool to get involved and volunteer in their communities. Celebrities at the New York event include Nas, Kelis, Ashanti, Young B & Webstar (the "Chicken Noodle Soup" people), Paul Wall, TI, Young Jeezy, Fabolous, and a lot of other people.

"Apparently many fans paid to purchase tickets to see American artists who won MOBO's," explained publicist Priscilla Clarke -- who reps Music World Entertainment, the enterprise owned by Mathew Knowles.
"Beyonce was never scheduled to be at the MOBO Awards. Never! Her schedule simply would not allow it."
"And the MOBO's and record label had plenty of advance notice," Clarke further mandated. "She went from Toronto to Paris to London and her schedule unfortunately missed the MOBO's by a day. While in Toronto Beyonce was supposed to tape a thank-you but that never happened due to a glitch between Sony BMG and the MOBO's."
"Fans who paid their money to see Beyonce and other US artists that won multiple awards were frustrated with the MOBO's after Beyonce was announced 3 times in the evening in three categories she had won," Knowles himself elaborated. "That's just bad TV. The smart thing would have been to combine all three. In addition several articles in the UK press led her fans to think she would be there."

"Trying to put together the emotion -- it's one thing to do it onscreen, but it's another thing bringing it out in your voice and bringing certain emotions out that people can just hear," he tells AOL Music. "Iit seems like all the experience, it's been one hell of a year, and I got a lot to talk about. So all of that's reflected in this album."
Ludacris says he's looking forward to taking the cathartic experience to the next level -- the live stage. "Whenever you do a concert, it's very therapeutic. Malinda Williams' personalities fall in the pussy family. Although she's generally playful -- a trait she refers to as being a kitten -- the New Jersey-bred actress turns tiger when pleasure takes a backstep to business. "The tiger gets me where I need to go," she says. "Sometimes she just shows her face to check people." In a business with limited roles for Black women, a shorty's gotta eat. And in addition to starting her Modern Goddess lingerie line, Malinda, 30, has been feasting on acting gigs. She landed a spot on NBC's mid-season ensemble drama Windfall (A Black woman wins the lottery. That's fiction at its best.) and a leading roll as Big Boi's superwife in the OutKast musical Idlewild. Gotta respect her growl.
KING: You've been acting professionally since you were 11. Any casting- couch horror stories?
MALINDA WILLIAMS: Now I'm a lot clearer on how I want to navigate this industry. It's like driving on a racetrack. If you let your eyes off the road for one second it can be disastrous. You have to keep your mind on the finish line, and that's where my mind is focused.
Red flag! That type of determination and drive in a woman is usually very intimidating to a man.
I've definitely noticed that. I'll see men across the room thinking, "She don't wanna talk to me." It's an unfortunate thing because to me confidence is one of the sexiest things a man can have. For women like me who have found and stepped into their power, it takes a super-confident dude to be by my side. [READ MORE]
If we need further proof that DMX is fighting some serious demons, DMX now says that he was raped and that's how he fathered a child with a women in Washington, D.C. Is it me or was Sister2Sister real desperate if they put DMX and his wife on the cover of the October issue? In the October issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine, Tashera Simmons -- wife to rapper DMX -- stands by her man as he talks openly about recently fathering a child with a Washington, D.C., woman.
"She raped me," the rapper told S2S editor Jamie Foster Brown. "I mean, you know, that might sound like some bullsh*t. No man has ever been... you know what I mean, like never? Is that the only thing in the world that's not possible?"
Mrs. Simmons recalled an earlier encounter with the woman. "Before the stuff hit the fan, she came up to us while we were in court and said 'I work for kids that are sickly,' said Tashera. "So he said 'Give her my number.' That's how it goes all the time. At first, I said OK. But, then I thought she looked deranged and obsessed with him."
While his wife "blocks out" the experience to cope, X gained a more valuable lesson: "Turn on the light before I go to sleep," he said.

On September 8, Whitney Houston, 43, filed for separation from husband Bobby Brown, 37, citing "irreconcilable differences" and taking the first step in ending a tumultuous 14-year marriage.
Though a source close to the couple says Houston and Brown have talked divorce "dozens of times," they never set the legal process in motion. Why the big step now?
Sources tell Us Houston came to the conclusion that her rocky marriage - complete with infidelity and dwindling finances - was finally over after a dramatic intervention led by Houston's music-biz mentor, Clive Davis (who was prompted to intervene at the behest of singer, Courtney Love who recommended that Houston work with her own addiction coach, Warren Boyd).
"Getting sober has given her the clarity to move on from him," a source close to Houston tells Us. Adds another source close to the couple, "After all these years, she cleaned up and got smart. She didn't need him and realized it.†(Reps for Houston and Brown had no comment.)

The girls did some talking about how unfair it was for you to rejoin the competition. What do you have to say to that?
You know, the girls, as soon as they saw I was back, they sort of made me an outcast. They didn't want to speak to me and they were upset. But I felt that it wasn't unfair because this is a matter of the heart. Flav's love life is at stake and he knew that we had a great past. He wanted to do this again and see if we can make it a good present. I really didn't care what the girls felt, but it definitely was fair. Flav made a mistake with picking Hoopz and he knew he had to go back to his roots!
You refer to yourself as the "H.B.I.C." Can you explain to those who don't know what that means?
Oh yes, I am definitely the H.B.I.C. That is the Head Bitch In Charge.
You're pretty strategic, if not devious when it comes to working the girls.
Absolutely. I'm inconsistent. I feed off the girls' reactions and their personalities. You definitely want to go toward the weakest link and make the weakest link feel as comfortable as possible. Small talk, that type of thing. It's all to get information out of her to use against her in the end.
You're talking about preying on Krazy's insecurities?
Absolutely! That was so fun (laughs).
It was a little bit ridiculous that she'd trust you after her nasty break-up with BFF Deelishis.
Mmmhmm. Come on. She should have been afraid of the Big Bad Wolf. That was on her.
How much of your working the girls is planned out? How much is spontaneous?
It's always 50/50. I'm always running over situations in my head. I do my homework. I find out who is who and what this person is about. But at the same time, you can't plan out everything. I always leave space for some unexpected knowledge.
Did you really think that Krazy could have been hurt?
Absolutely not. Definitely not. I didn't feel that Krazy's life was in danger or that she was actually going to go over the balcony. I just used that basically as an opportunity to get Buckeey out of the house. That situation was heated, but it wasn't hot.
Do you have any comment on Bootz's alleged celibacy?
Bootz is full of s***. She is not celibate. Every time you see Bootz, her backside is in someone's face, flailing around. She shakes her cellulite so hard. That girl is definitely experienced and she has numerous sexual escapades. I see it all over her.
You're a walking sound bite, New York. From Krazy's "weak-ass ass" to, "Bitch, I will be ignorant all over your m*********ing ass," you never cease to amaze.
You know, I try to stay on my toes. I never know what anyone's gonna say, but I've been blessed with the gift of gab, so I can just throw those things out. When they need to come out, they just pop out.

We probably should trust CSI creator, Anthony Zuiker. He has created the top-rated show on TV … but he’s also now cast Kevin Federline in it.
Hopefully, though, Zuiker is trying to redeem himself by working on a project with LL Cool J, who - as everyone knows - the ladies love. The pair has joined foreces to develop “The Man,” a CBS drama in which the veteran rapper-actor will play a cop with a busy domestic life.
Rumor has it they considered 50 Cent for the role, but no one would actually believe that musician could be on the right side of the law.
In the upcoming series, LL would be an undercover LAPD officer who spends the nights running sting operations to break criminal rings, and the days raising his three adopted kids - an abused boy with an aggression problem, a former streetwalker girl he put in community college and a skateboarder boy who is a recovering drug addict.
“He is the only honest man on the wrong side of the law,” said Zuiker, the one-time Las Vegas tram operator.
Last year, LL Cool J guest starred on an episode of House. He’s one of the few rappers that actually can act. And doesn’t get arrested every other week.
She's in the works to release a tell-all book about every detail of her and Nas' long relationship, her cheating with Jay, Allen Iverson, Diddy and several other folks. You've heard all the rumors but now this chick just puts it all on the table, but with names. The above videos were taken from her soon to be released DVD interview about all this.
According to Carmen, the reason why Jay and Nas fell out was because of her and Hov's "relationship." This chick even sounds proud of being the thing that came between them and being "a part of this hip hop legacy." She and Nas had a very long relationship and had a daughter named Destiny who is around 7 now. She gave details on how they met and talked about how she took care of Nas before he blew up. Apparently, she paid all the bills so he could go to the studio everyday. But when he blew up, so did his head and they had to split. That's only the beginning though.
Thus allowing creator David Simon and his magnificent crew to wrap up the series next season with its final theme: the role of the mass media in ignoring or perpetuating stereotypes about the drug trade — or, as he told The Philadelphia Inquirer last week, ''how this world exists while everybody is busy... watching something else.'' Meanwhile, you need to see this week's upcoming episode, as young Michael (Tristan Wilds) is finding it harder to deal with his mother's drug addiction and to protect his younger brother.

It's time to mourn Buckwild. After the jump, Buckwild talks about the accent issue, her checkered past and how she really, really hates New York.
Was doing the show a good experience for you?
It was off the hook. I had the time of my life.
It was pretty surprising that you kicked yourself out of the competition.
Yeah, well, I'm not trying to live with New York's dumb ass. There's no man in the world that I would put up with that bitch for. There's no reason. It's completely pointless. I will not put myself through that kind of torture for any man or for any situation. It's just dumb.
Was your decision to leave 100 percent because of New York?
Yes.
New York came with her claws out – do you think that leaving because of her was letting her win?
I could care less! The only goal I had was to not deal with her anymore, so in my mind, I won. I wanted to win, yeah, but the fact is that I couldn't change Flav's mind on her staying in the house and there was sure no way in hell that I was going to live with her. There could be a chance for me and Flav in the future, but there could be a chance that if I live with this bitch, I'ma go to jail, you know? Me and Flav could cross paths again someday and it don't have to be in this kind of a situation.
You were down for him?
Oh yeah, I was totally into Flav. I still have feelings. I gave him my number when I left, like, "Call me up, just don't bring the bitch with you."

Yes, Jay-Z is a man of his word. Except, it seems, when he isn't. In 2002, the rapper declared that his next CD, The Black Album, would also be his last. His future lay not in the beats but in the boardroom. And that ambition became a reality when, in December 2004, he was announced as the new president and CEO of Def Jam Recordings. How to explain, then, the news that this fall Jay-Z will release a new CD, Kingdom Come? ''It was the worst retirement, maybe, in history,'' he admits. And then he launches into an impromptu a cappella preview of the title track, which was inspired by a 1996 comic in which Superman comes out of retirement to save the world. The lyrics that effortlessly roll off his tongue may help explain his return: ''Take off the blazer/Loosen up the tie/Step inside the booth/Superman is alive!''
So without further ado, let us welcome, and celebrate, the return of Jay-Z, a.k.a. Jigga, a.k.a. Hova. He is, arguably, the most powerful man in the music business — but without his music, well, he's just Clark Kent.

Say it ain't so. I hear the entourage of a certain singer currently on tour is waiting for the artist's road show to end so that they can tell her that her man is cheating on her. Sources tattle that the belter's beau, who has contributed to her recent lifestyle change, has been keeping company with a couple of chicks on the side. Now her camp is afraid to break the news to the singer for fear she'll cancel the rest of her tour. After the tour wraps, the relationship could be 'a wrap' as well.

I personally think it's a little fucked up! This isn't a recent issue, when Mimi left the question quickly arose about the October cover and Christina's photoshoot/interview...and if they wanted to go in another direction, they could have picked a better replacement...I mean we don't look to Vibe for news on Bobby B...we look to the National Inquirer! LOLChristina Aguilera has been axed from the front cover of VIBE Magazine's October edition in favor of Bobby Brown.
The star gave an interview and posed for a photo shoot for the publication as part of the publicity for her new album 'Back to Basics' - but the feature has been shelved after new owners took over the magazine.
Aguilera's piece was ditched and she was replaced by Brown.
Relations between VIBE and Aguilera worsened when the magazine planned to put the sexy photos of the diva on its website but not in the print version.
Aguilera's manager Irving Azoff even wrote VIBE a letter accusing its management of a breach of contract.
The singer's representative Cindy Guagenti says, "When there's a change at a magazine, you understand that there might be a new direction. But Christina is completely within the scope of the magazine - she is very relevant to Vibe's readers, and we would still like them to honor their commitment. We want them to give us back our cover!"
But the magazine's new editor Danyel Smith, who was appointed by the new owners, tells the New York Daily News, "I can't speak on the previous administration and what they did promise or didn't promise. But there was never an article to put anywhere. There was never a written piece.
"We had considered putting the photos online and then decided against it."

"I told them they had to be strong because I really thought I could do something special with the role." Now, a decade later, she's still getting asked about how much she and Cleo have in common.
For her part, Latifah refuses to confirm or deny. She says she has plenty of gay friends, and to deny anything about her personal life would be an insult to them. Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown may finally be moving on with their lives after a tumultuous 14-year marriage, but sources familiar with the family from their time in New Jersey tell TMZ say that the real victim in the divorce battle will no doubt be daughter Bobbi Kristina, and that she might actually be better off living apart from her parents altogether.
In court filings obtained yesterday by TMZ, it is not clear what Whitney's intentions are concerning the 13-year-old Bobbi Kristina, pictured here with her parents at a film premiere in 2004. But even though the teen's parents have always showered
their only daughter together with love and affection, the New Jersey sources tell TMZ that the child may now be in particular danger of losing the guidance she needs through these difficult and crucial years, especially given Whitney's past struggles with substance abuse and Bobbi's focus on reviving his career – and his "tenderonis" – not to mention his two other children from previous relationships.
Recent reports have suggested that Karrine Steffans, the self-proclaimed "Video Vixen," may have caused the impending divorce of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. But a source with knowledge of the relationship tells TMZ that it's Brown who has sought out Steffans for moral and financial support: He stays at her L.A. home "frequently" and Karrine actually ponies up for Bobby's pre-paid cell phone.[SOURCE]
As TMZ reported earlier, Houston's publicist Nancy Seltzer confirms the Grammy award-winning singer will file for divorce from husband Bobby Brown. . .
According to the TMZ source, there is in fact no romance between Brown and Steffans, and that outsiders are creating that illusion because of her past, in which she was known as "Supahead" by legions of R&B and hip-hop artists to whom she provided sexual services on the sets of their videos. She wrote a book about her experiences, "Confessions of a Video Vixen," which was a New York Times bestseller.
Steffans recently told the New York Daily News' Lloyd Grove that her relationship with Brown was "a really tricky situation" and called him her "dearest friend," but wouldn't admit to having a physical relationship. During the summer, at a concert Brown gave with fellow '80s artists Bell Biv Devoe and En Vogue at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, Steffans was backstage and in fact took Brown home in her car. Brown had told the audience that he and Whitney were on the rocks and that he needed a "tenderoni" to take home; it appears he found that "tenderoni" in the form of Steffans. Brown and Steffans' encounter that night was caught on tape by a show called "I Married A Baller" on the TV One network.

Saldana: I could be into something if it captures my attention, but I like doing my own theme. If everyone is wearing miniskirts, I'll wear a knee-length one because I'm channeling a '70s secretary. I like dressing like an icon I have in my mind. If it's Billie Holiday, I'll do the dark lips and wear a flower in my hair.
OK!: Who are your other style icons?
Saldana: Dorothy Dandridge and Diana Ross. My hairstylist is always pitching Diana's look to me for photo shoots. He says, "You remind me of her." It's such an honor and compliment.

Even in Hollywood -- land of breast implants and botox -- natural counts for something. So says People magazine, which on Wednesday said Jennifer Aniston topped its list of best-dressed women of 2006 for her natural fashion sense.
The popular magazine's annual best- and worst-dressed issue hits newsstands this Friday and features numerous Hollywood stars all given a moniker to describe their taste in couture.
Oscar winner Halle Berry, dubbed "The Classic," is No. 2 behind Aniston, and No. 3 was "The Newcomer" Jessica Alba, 25, star of movies like last summer's hit "Fantastic Four."
For the men, singer Justin Timberlake was named "Trendiest," and English soccer star David Beckham looked best in "jacket and jeans." George Clooney took the honor of "best monochromatic" look.

"It was the worst retirement, maybe, in history,” Jay tells EW. “I believed it for two years.” Jay’s new album Kingdom Come, rumored to be in stores this November, will feature production from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Kanye West and Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
He told Entertainment Weekly that he began tinkering in the studio over the summer.
"Something, when you love it, is always tugging at you and itching, and I was putting it off and putting it off. I started fumbling around to see if it felt good," he said.
The result: "Kingdom Come."
The disc is "more in the vein of `The Black Album' than `The Blueprint,'" he tells the magazine. "I've been experimenting with things, different types of music."

Beyonce racks up her second No. 1 on The Billboard 200 with "B'Day," bypassing her best one-week sum by more than 220,000 copies. The Columbia set moved a whopping 541,000 units in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, the best sales number since Tool's "10,000 Days," sold 564,000 in May. "B'Day" also scores the No. 1 position on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums tally.
Beyonce also topped The Billboard 200 with her solo debut, "Dangerously in Love," which sold 317,000 in its first week. Only one Destiny's Child album managed a bigger start, 2001's "Survivor" with 663,000.
Whitney Houston has filed for divorce from her husband
Bobby Brown, her publicist told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
Publicist Nancy Seltzer declined to reveal where or when Houston filed the divorce papers, and said the singer had no statement to make.
"I can just confirm that she has filed for divorce," Seltzer said.
What is now a legal separation is a technicality which will become a divorce filing in October.
A source says legal documents were filed Friday and that Bobby Brown was served with those documents yesterday.

"No rapper is as complex, as multifaceted, as challenging. A handsome and charismatic actor, a violent felon, a brilliant songwriter, a reckless celebrity, a misogynist and a visionary — Shakur still fascinates from the grave."
"I want to be in the future known as somebody," Shakur once said. "I want people to be talking about me, like, 'Remember when he was real bad?'"

However, it may be the words of Shakur -- often overshadowed by the controversy that dogged him -- where his brilliance is most notable. Rather than becoming dated, songs like "So Many Tears" and "Changes" still speak to the despair and pain that remain very real in urban America.

For the past five years Mary J Blige and her husband Kendu Isaacs have been the happiest couple in hip-hop. But it now seems that all that has changed. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Mary and Kendu are on the verge of divorce.
A close friend of the couple told MediaTakeOut.com that Mary suspects that her husband has been cheating. According to our source, "Mary caught him doing something that he shouldn't have been doing and she is mad as hell." And the source added, "for Mary, there's nothing worse than being betrayed ... so I think the marriage is probably over."
And the break up couldn't be happening at a worse time for the R&B diva. According to our tipster, Mary had been trying to get pregnant. The source tells, "Mary was really looking forward to having a baby ... it was the happiest I'd ever seen her." Adding, "if those two break up it will really be sad, Mary was on top of the world with her new album and everything ... that woman just can't get a break."
But not everyone feels sorry for the platinum selling artist. Rod McCullom, author of the popular blog Rod 2.0, tells MediaTakeOut.com, "Kendu has three children with his ex-wife that are approximately five, six and eighteen years old. That means that his ex-wife was either pregnant or had just given birth when he and Mary began dating in 2000. How can you hook up with a man who cheats on his pregnant wife and not expect this kind of drama? Ray Charles could have seen the writing on the wall."

She continued, "The family wishes to return the body to the United States, but it won't be released until the reports are in."

Britney Spears gave birth to her second son early Tuesday morning, according to the National Enquirer and US Weekly. The 6-pound, 11-ounce baby reportedly made his debut just before 2 a.m. in a Los Angeles area hospital. MTV.com also reported the birth, citing a source close to the family who refused to say whether it was a boy or a girl.
A representative for Spears dismissed the reports, telling MTV.com they were "speculation."
The baby's arrival came two days short of the first birthday of Spears and husband Kevin Federline's first son, Sean Preston. Rumors were swirling around celebrity blog sites that Spears planned to have the birth induced on Thursday so that the siblings could share the same birthday.

"It's a show about the city trying to rebuild itself and the people who are trying to put their lives together," said Lee, who will travel to New Orleans this week with screenwriter Sid Quashie to meet with residents.
"We don't have to build sets," Lee said wryly. "Things there still look like the city's been bombed out."[SOURCE]
