Sean “Diddy” Combs has some potent staying power. The rap impresario is apparently also a sexual maestro: he claims to have had sex for 30 straight hours.[SOURCE]
Combs, discussing his romantic stay in Paris with his girlfriend Kim Porter, told the London Mirror: “As soon as we landed, we went straight to the Eiffel Tower, drank champagne at the top and just kissed and kissed. Then we went up to my suite and had tantric sex for at least 30 hours, ordering up whipped cream and strawberries while we were at it.”
Combs, who is not given to modesty, added, “As meticulous as I am with my work, I'm more meticulous with lovemaking. I like to do it for a long time.”

Before we really get into it, I wonder if you have anything to say about what went down with Miss Jones last month on the radio, when she hung up on you after accusing you of lying about college.
I'm glad we're gonna address that. First of all, Miss Jones doesn't appeal to me in any type of way. I don't have any respect for her. She's very angry. She's very nasty. She was asking me very personal questions about myself and I wasn't going to answer her honestly, because I felt like she wasn't really interested in my life. She was trying to attack me. So, of course, I just played with her. And her being a radio personality, she knew I wasn't being honest. I didn't care, I knew I had to get through that interview and remain professional. But I will say this: I think she's a fat, bitter bitch.
Very early on, it seemed clear that she was out to give you a hard time.
And I was having a great day! I wasn't going to let anyone ruin my morning. You can only push my buttons if I allow you to, and I didn't allow her to push my buttons. She would have loved to have gotten into it with me. Who wouldn't want to get into it with me? That could have boosted her career that never went anywhere. She was an aspiring singer that never did anything. Miss Jones sucks. She gained about 80 lbs. She looks terrible.

Hollywood star Halle Berry attempted to commit suicide over a failed relationship but backed out at the last minute, the actress says in a candid US magazine interview due to appear this weekend.
The 40-year-old actress, who won an Oscar in 2002 for her performance in the hit "Monster's Ball," told Sunday magazine Parade that she tried to gas herself in her car over her stormy marriage to baseball star David Justice.
"I was sitting in my car, and I knew the gas was coming, when I had an image of my mother finding me," she says.
"She sacrificed so much for her children, and to end my life would be an incredibly selfish thing to do. It was all about a relationship. My sense of worth was so low," Berry said.
"I promised myself I would never be a coward again."
Berry describes her second marriage, to singer
Eric Benet, as "really horrific." "We were in sex rehab after one year. I wish I had left then, but I was putting everyone's needs before mine," she says.
For the past year, Berry has been dating model Gabriel Aubry and says she is now ready to have a child.
"Now my sights are set on a different chapter in my life, which is motherhood. That's the goal I have very clearly set for myself," she says.

"I used to roll in the car with my high school friends listening to Biggie and Kim. (But we were) not speaking, for whatever reason. When my publicist told me we would be sitting across from each other, I was like, 'Are you serious?' There wasn't any real beef, but I just didn't want any tension. But we ended up talking, like really talking, for forty-five minutes. We even exchanged numbers. I'd love to do a joint with Kim. I really want to see her come back, you know?"
ON INTERRACIAL LOVE
"I'm going to love who loves me, and if I'm attracted to a person, I'm attracted to them. I've had black men say to me, 'Oh, I heard you were dating a white man.' It's like, 'Have I gone out with (a white man)? Yes. Am I dating someone white? No, but if I was, it would be my choice, so stay out of my business.'"
ON THE DECLINE OF HIP HOP MUSIC
"For me, it all started with (D4L's) 'Laffy Taffy.' When I first heard that song on the radio, I just knew it was a joke, but then I kept hearing it. Every artist has the right to do what they want, but I don't believe in making that kind of music. It's disposable. Hip-hop is in cardiac arrest, but I think it's revivable."

Amy Winehouse has revealed the real reason behind the recent cancellation of two London live shows.
The U.K. soul star, who is famed for her debauched antics, pulled a pair of gigs at London's Shepherds Bush Empire earlier this month.
Last week, she also cancelled two shows in America, following a triumphant appearance at SXSW and the top 10breakthrough of new album Back To Black in the Billboard chart.
Winehouse has now admitted the concerts in the U.K. capital were pulled after she smashed her front tooth in a drunken fall.
"I broke my big tooth. I had a massive gap in the front of my mouth," she revealed, before explaining that dental surgery has fixed the unsightly injury.
The cancelled Shepherds Bush Empire shows will now take place on May 28 and 29.

The paparazzo was detained and later released.
"One photographer was on the wrong side of the road and tried to run over an officer who had stopped traffic. He kept coming and one of our guards pulled a gun out. I cannot speak for the security officer but he does not regret it. This is a church, not a concert."

According to Tiny’s mom Dianne Cottle, Tiny had had a difficult pregnancy and on Wednesday (3/21), Tiny knew something was wrong. Her pediatrician confirmed it: the baby girl she and Tip wanted so badly had no heartbeat. Tiny was six months along in her pregnancy.
Tiny was admitted to Northside hospital that Wednesday, and on Thursday, following a medically induced labor, Tiny delivered a stillborn baby girl in her room surrounded by Tip and family and friends. Tip named his baby girl Llayah Amour and dressed her in a tiny white dress. Then Tiny, her daughter Zonnique, and family and friends took turns holding the baby for hours. “The baby was beautiful,” said Dianne. “She looked just like Tip.”

Snoop Dogg and Sean "Diddy" Combs were forced to scrap a tour of Britain after authorities denied Dogg a visa, according to a statement Tuesday.[SOURCE]
The duo, currently on a European tour, had been expected to play five dates in Britain.
"With late notice of Snoop being denied a visa, time has ran out and it is too late reconfigure the show," the statement said.
Tour organizers had said the concerts, starting with one at London's Wembley Arena on Wednesday, would go ahead without Dogg.
British Home Office rules state that foreign citizens can be barred from entering the country if there were concerns about their presence.
In April 2006, Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, and five other men were arrested on charges of violent disorder and starting a brawl, and spent the night in jail after trouble flared when some in the rapper's party were denied entry to British Airways' first-class lounge at Heathrow Airport.
Seven officers received minor injuries — mainly cuts and bruises — and one suffered a fracture to the hand.

Eminem and ex-wife Kim Mathers agreed Monday not to criticize each other in public.[SOURCE]
The decision to make nice was made following a court hearing in which the on-again, off-again couple agreed that insulting each other could prove harmful to their 11-year-old daughter, Hailie.
The hearing was held because the Grammy- and Oscar-winning performer filed a motion earlier this month in Macomb County Circuit Court that sought to prevent Kim Mathers from making "derogatory, disparaging, inflammatory and otherwise negative comments" about him in the media.
Kim Mathers blasted her ex-husband in recent television and radio interviews, including one on a Detroit radio station in which she said he was unfaithful and uncaring — and disparaged his sexual prowess.
She attended Monday's hearing as well as a closed-door meeting beforehand in the chambers of Friend of the Court Referee David Elias. Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, was not in court, but spoke via telephone in Elias' chambers.
The two sides agreed to the deal, and it was announced at the court hearing.

Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental drug overdose after she was found unresponsive at a hotel, authorities said Monday.
“We found nothing to indicate any foul play,” said Chief Charlie Tiger of the Seminole police department.
Neither Tiger nor Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper immediately said what drug or drugs were involved in her death. Perper said the detailed autopsy showed no evidence of disease.
Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental overdose of a sleeping medication and at least eight other prescription drugs, and she had recently had a bacterial infection from injecting drugs into her buttocks, authorities said Monday.
Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper said Smith died of “combined drug intoxication” with the sleeping medication chloral hydrate as the major factor.
She had been taking a lengthy list of medications, including methadone for pain and valium, but those drugs were at therapeutic levels, he said. A bacterial infection from injecting medication in her buttocks and the flu contributed to her death, according to the report.

Tony Yayo has been arrested, as the 14-year-old son of a music industry rival is charging the rapper assaulted him.
Yayo, born Marvin Bernard, and other members affiliated with G-Unit Records have been detained by New York authorities for their connection to the assault of Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond's 14-year-old son.
The alleged assault happened on Tuesday (Mar. 20), as Rosemond's 14-year-old son left school on the way to an internship with his father's Czar Entertainment, an entertainment-based record label/management firm.
According to sources close to Czar, 50 Cent and Tony Yayo were leaving the offices of Violator Management and saw the boy walking down the street, wearing a Czar Entertainment T-shirt.
According to sources, Yayo backhanded the teen then screamed profane words towards Czar Entertainment.

Upon meeting them, Mo'Nique lets them know that their Flavor of Love stardom has also turned them into walking punchlines. "America wasn't laughing with you," she tells them, "they were laughing at you." The one left standing will receive a $50,000 prize.

Buckeye Nation’s basketball team has just ascended to the top of the NCAA coaches’ poll. But that’s not why, on a cold night in Columbus, Ohio, seemingly every undergrad in the city is shitfaced. It’s not just another Monday evening, just another happy hour at the Distillery over on High Street. The kegs are whirring with particular purpose tonight. FutureSex/LoveShow is in town.
Justin. Fucking. Timberlake. Here. At Ohio State.
The Benetton-like tableau of black kids, white kids, goths, sluts, outcasts, and douchebags outside the Value City Arena has been waiting for four hours in the cold to worship at Timberlake’s sneakered feet. All those little girls who first felt stone strike flint in their panties while listening to the G-rated cooing of early ’N Sync are legal now. And they’re wasted. Boobs served up on underwire platters. Hair moussed, sprayed, and lacquered. Fists wrapped around cans of Bud Light, they’re gyrating against the metal crowd barrier like it’s a stripper’s pole. Inhaling alcohol, exuding sex, they pile in on top of one another for tonight’s “in the round” performance.
Later, when Timberlake’s robo-sexual call to arms—“futuresex . . . lovesound . . . futuresex . . . lovesound”—begins to quake through the speakers in quickening repetition, the earsplitting, high-pitched shrieking is expected. The thick, raspy baritone harmonizing with it is not.
Guys are howling for Timberlake with the same animal intensity as their pop-loving sisters. Frat boys in backward ball caps. Gay men in their tightest-fitting tees. White-belted hipsters with mohawks. And an aging hood rat who looks like he got lost on the way to a Van Halen show. With plastic cups of beer hoisted in the air, they bellow in unison:
“Jaaaaayyyy-Teeeeee!”
As the house lights go dark, Timberlake—looking sharp in a tailored slate-gray suit, skinny black tie, and ivory tennis shoes—rises slowly from beneath the stage on a platform. Ringed by pimped-out backup singers and bathed in the red light of a rotating, million-dollar spotlight, he takes the microphone stand in one hand.
As three-story swaths of hanging curtain lift, Justin Timberlake lets out a single, high-pitched “Whoo,” and 15,000 people lose their minds.
“I’m having a moment. . . . I’m having a moment. . . . I’m having a moment.”
Sitting at attention on a leather sofa in a dressing room backstage at the Value City Arena, Justin Timberlake bites into his pre-performance peanut-butter-and-grape-jelly sandwich (there was no strawberry. Did nobody read the tour rider?). He test-drives the phrase that’s been reverberating in the media for the past year, during which time the now 26-year-old performer was the linchpin of the Grammy Awards ceremony; held his own opposite Christina Ricci and Samuel L. Jackson in the indie movie Black Snake Moan; nurtured his fledgling clothing line, William Rast; and launched the chart-busting FutureSex/LoveSounds album (along with a much-watched video in which he tongue-wrestles Scarlett Johansson): Justin Timberlake is having a moment. He rolls the words over on his tongue, trying to find the syntax to help him understand the phrase. “I don’t know what it means. I really don’t,” he says, crunching into a Fritos Flavor Twist. This weary-eyed pop star is more endearing than the flashy homeboy he projects to the public. In person, he’s more boyish, even with thick stubble. His voice is even reedier than you’d think, almost pubescent. He really is a kid from Tennessee who can go from mama’s boy to lova-lova man in 60 seconds flat. No wonder then, as he sits in the greenroom of this stadium, eating his PB&J, he’s not convinced of his status as the pope of pop culture.
The Timberlake caravan arrived here at 5:30 this morning from Buffalo, New York. J.T. fit in a little shut-eye, a little NPR (“This American Life” is a favorite), and a little quality time with his two boxers, Buckley and Brennan, before getting back to work.
“It’s a bitch. Way more intense than anything I’ve done before,” Timberlake says, sipping a cream soda he got from a nearby catering spread of sandwich-making materials, chips, soft drinks, and an unmarked brown liquor. On the coffee table in front of him is an assortment of antacids, aspirin, and Beano. For gas. You know, just in case.
Timberlake has been blinking in the glare of stage lights since he was 11. But he’s never done anything like this. Over the next two and a half hours, he’ll sing, pop-and-lock like a break-dancer on ’ludes, play the keytar, strum a white guitar, dry-hump some backup dancers, trade rhymes with Timbaland (a collaborator on FutureSex), and down a shot of Patrón to show solidarity with the fucked-up crowd. He will do this 21 more times over the next six weeks. Then it’s on to Europe.
Bringing sexy back is hard work.
“Last tour, we were doing four concerts a week, but I wasn’t singing as much,” he says. “The show wasn’t as long, it wasn’t as involved, and I didn’t have as much responsibility vocally.”
All the red-eyed road-tripping through middle-of-nowhere America may tucker Timberlake out and upset his tummy, but it has its advantages. The people who make a living covering his sex life have been working almost as hard as he has lately; his “tour bubble” is a relative safe haven. The end of Timberlake’s nearly four-year relationship with Cameron Diaz is still selling copies of Us Weekly and People. His handlers have been frantically applying a just friends rubber stamp to sightings of Timberlake with Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson. And then there’s Britney.
Five years after they broke up and their careers took opposite paths, Timberlake and Spears, our Kmart-ified version of Charles and Diana, are still shackled together in the public eye. Yesterday she shaved her head. Tomorrow she’ll go to rehab. Again. Never mind K-Fed. Everyone wants to know what Justin thinks. Justin, predictably, has basically no comment. For someone so eager to repel the stereotype of the media-coached pop star (“All of a sudden you’re Mr. ‘SexyBack,’ and before that you were Mr. ‘Cry Me a River.’ I knew I had to take a break when they said the new King of Pop,” he says), Timberlake shuts down with astonishing, practiced speed when asked about tabloid reports. He responds to inquiries about his personal life (are those run-ins with Cameron awkward?) with an attack on the gossip magazines that scrutinize it.
“I despise what they do,” he says, leaning forward, in response to the Britney Question. There’s a flush of red in his cheeks, but he stays meticulously on-point. “They create soap operas out of people’s lives. We had our thing, and it’s over. They edit that stuff like MTV edits reality shows. It’s a spin game, and I choose not to take part in it.”
Timberlake’s skill at appearing to feel much but say little has served him well. It’s not just his voice and hips and five-o’clock shadow that have transformed the one-dimensional ex-boy-bander into a legitimate five-tool stud. He may say he doesn’t grasp the concept of “having a moment,” but he clearly knows how to stoke the flames of one. Rule No. 1: Don’t make an ass of yourself—at least not when the cameras are rolling. “I would never say anything bad about anyone,” he says, winding down. His eyes scan the floor uncomfortably. Then he issues the safe statement: “I love a lot of those people.”
A person as large as Tiny, Timberlake’s man-mountain of a bodyguard, could get away with wearing this much pink. Shirt, tie, pocket handkerchief. When he tells the assembled catering crew, security guards, and ushers watching sound check to “clear the bowl,” there is an immediate mass exodus.
Timberlake makes his way to the stage for a quick run-through with his band, working out bits of “What Goes Around . . . ,” “Damn Girl,” even Coldplay’s “The Scientist,” for an empty arena. Then he has one final bit of business: a few grip-and-grins with tour sponsors from Dell and awkward group shots with local contest winners.
“Somebody has to pay for this tour,” he says over his shoulder. He dives in—pumping flesh, posing for photos, feigning being pinched in the ass by hyperventilating fans, accepting personalized Ohio State football jerseys that will end up slung in a corner of the management office—before heading back to the greenroom.
Timberlake is not a kiss-ass. Selling more than 13 million records has earned him a lot of rope, and he knows that. He relishes battles with his label, Jive, about single-release choices (“SexyBack” was his call. The label, he says, was “scared shitless”), dictates tour demands (no more than four shows a week), and claims he generally doesn’t give a shit what anyone else thinks. “I tried so hard to be an R&B artist [on his first solo album, Justified] and it was the pop album of the year, and I was like, ‘Fuck. That’s the last thing I wanted,’” Timberlake says, taking a swig from another can of cream soda. “But I was like, ‘So everyone considers me a pop artist? Well, fuck it. I’m going to do whatever I want to do.’”
But moonwalking the line between manchild and hipster mascot is tough. On one hand, Timberlake beams when he recalls a recent article in the New York Times about punk fans who unexpectedly love him. On the other, he says he resents feeling like he owes indie rockers an apology for his candy-pop past. The internal battle is most evident when he talks about this year’s Grammys. Weeks in advance of the telecast, he was asked to be the star of “My Grammy Moment,” a cheesy, American Idol rip-off bit in which the winner of a contest got to perform onstage with him. Before the idea was fleshed out, Timberlake agreed. As the potentially disastrous plan hurtled to fruition, he ached to back out. He couldn’t. “Because I’m the nice guy who follows through on the things he commits to,” he says, a mock smile locked into place. “But I don’t know if I’ll be going through that sort of thing again. I feel like the Grammys used me for ratings. And look at it—they were up 18 percent.”
Roughly five years after bubblegum pop’s Vaseline-lensed heyday, the boy “most likely to” is trash-talking the Grammys. He has survived the boy-band apocalypse and become a man.
“I could give you a bunch of analogies about why I’m still around that would sound like hippie self-help bullshit,” he says, popping a throat lozenge. “‘I saw an opportunity and I took it?’ Fuck you. Sure, there’s a lot of luck involved. But on some level I have to believe in my ability. And I’m not apologizing to anyone. I worked fucking hard to get here.” Timberlake is done chatting. In 30 minutes, he’ll have a group prayer with his backing band and dancers. Then he’ll be whisked underneath the stage to wait for the madness to begin.
Outside the dimly lit serenity of his dressing room, the gears are grinding furiously toward showtime. Opening act Pink, fresh off her 45-minute set of you-go-girl-isms, tears down the backstage hallway in a fuchsia bathrobe. “Great crowd tonight,” she yells to her handler. “I think they were all drunk.”
Nope. Sorry, Pink. They’re hammered. All in the name of J.T.
It’s the most understated song of the night, and for the purist, the set closer, “(Another Song) All Over Again”—a slow-building, “gimme one more chance, baby” weeper—is the clear highlight. No solos, no costumes, no gyrating come-ons, just “Jaaaaayyyy-Teeeeee” underlining his “moment” by trumping style with substance. This is how Timberlake made it to the other side of the ’N Sync era: with his voice. Not the falsetto Jackson-lite of his hits, but the strong, wide-ranging blue-eyed Memphis soul burning in his gut. As the closing notes of “Another Song” give way to the Verve’s “Bitter Sweet Symphony,” Timberlake, gray T-shirt soaked through with sweat, takes a four-corner bow with his backing band and dancers. The mass exodus of horny, happy drunks begins, everyone walking, stumbling—and, in some cases, being carried—from the arena. All except for the two frat boys who insist on staying behind to yell—again—for Timberlake to sing “Dick in a Box.” As for Timberlake, he’ll get a quick shower and a ride back to the hotel. Then a few hours of sleep before an early-morning wake-up call. As his fleet of souped-up tour buses—each furnished with a flat-screen TV, leather seats, bunks, and a nicely stocked bar—weaves through traffic, Tiny relaxes for the first time all day. His night of crowd control included, among other things, breaking up a tag-team match that involved eight women, a gay man, and lots of beer. Nothing a gentle choke hold and a few choice words couldn’t soothe. “I’ve never seen that many girls so drunk,” he says, relaxing his ample frame into the couch. “Those girls can drink.” At 1:30 in the morning, the lobby of the Westin Hotel is empty, but Timberlake’s two bodyguards head through the glass doors first just to make sure. Coast sufficiently clear, Timberlake—hoodie pulled tight over his head, hands in his pockets—emerges from the bus and slowly walks toward the elevator. At first, nobody sees the twentysomething female hidden behind a marble pillar. “Ma’am,” Tiny says curtly, shaking his head deliberately for emphasis. She tries to defend herself: “But I’m a guest of the—” “Ma’am,” Tiny repeats, more sternly this time. “Not tonight, ma’am. You can take the next one.” Timberlake, exhausted, appears not to notice the minor ruckus. And with a polite nod, he vanishes behind the gold elevator doors. Hopefully he’s got something a little more potent than cream soda waiting for him upstairs.

Chris Brown will release his sophomore album, Exclusive, in August on Jive Records."It's kind of like a back-to-school present for everybody," Brown told MTV News at Dub magazine's Custom Auto Show & Concert in Los Angeles last weekend. "We coming with more videos, more explosive dance moves and more vocal abilities. So we gonna have fun."
The album's first single is still up in the air, according to Brown, but he's debating between two tracks: "Picture Perfect" and "Throwed." Brown didn't want to give up too many details about the two songs, but he said fans should be able to hear one of them soon, possibly within the next two weeks.
Currently, the Virginia native is gearing up to join Beyoncé as the opening act on the Australian leg of her tour. Initially Brown had hopes of pairing with Justin Timberlake (see "Chris Brown Says 'Gimme That' To Bow Wow Reunion, Timberlake Tour"), but when those plans didn't materialize, he quickly jumped at the chance to team up with B. He hastened to say that he has no intention of upstaging her.

Bernie Mac says he plans to bring down the curtain on his standup comedy act after 30 years.[SOURCE]
Mac told David Letterman on CBS' Late Show that he'll retire after he finishes shooting the comedy film The Whole Truth, Nothing but the Truth, So Help Me Mac this fall.
"And I'm going to put it in theaters and it's going to be 30 years for me, and I'm going to call it," the 49-year-old comedian said on Monday night's show.
"I'm going to still do my producing, my films, but I want to enjoy my life a little bit," Mac told Letterman. "I missed a lot of things, you know. I was a street performer for two years. I went into clubs in 1977."
"It's a great way to make a living but it also, it takes a toll, doesn't it? It's tough," Letterman said.

“Every action generates an equal and opposite reaction. My statement about Christina Aguilera and Joss Stone was a reaction to an incident I care not to discuss in any forum, and while I may have felt justified, I do owe an apology to Christina, Joss and their families. The comments I made about Christina Aguilera and Joss Stone were purely an act of retaliation not of malice or cruel intent. As we all have our boiling points, I sincerely apologize as this is not my character nor should I have let anyone’s actions push me to this limit. I have let my family, friends, employees and business associates down with my actions. All content and any malicious statements that were in my control have been removed from outlets that may have posted this. Please accept this as my formal statement and apology to all parties involved.”
“He is such a genius. I’ve never had vocal training, so when I’m in the studio, he’ll tell me how to breathe and stuff. And I’m like, ‘What?’ Like he’ll call out these big fancy words: ‘OK, I want you to do staccato.’ And I’m like, ‘OK, I don’t know what that is.’”
Houston admits there is a special lady in his life putting "a smile on his face" and that the song "Kimberly" was inspired by her.
"The song was written pretty much for my girlfriend, but the thing behind 'Kimberly' is that every woman has [a] 'Kimberly' [side]. It's that freaky side, the woman that is so shy and softspoken, I'm pretty sure she has a 'Kimberly' side in the bedroom," Houston explained.
While Houston remained tightlipped about the identity of his current love, he didn't deny a special relationship with Kim Kardashian, spokesmodel for Christopher Brian, the clothing line released by Houston's manager Chris Stokes.
"Kim is my girl. That's my homegirl. We're doing a lot of business together. We are just friends, we are good friends," he said.

Tip says going back to recording after his brief hiatus was nowhere nearly as tough as doing shows shortly after losing his friend.
As fate would have it, after such a tragic loss, Tip was blessed with a life. He's expecting a baby girl this July with longtime girlfriend Tameka "Tiny" Cottle. It will be T.I.'s and Tiny second child together. The two were even engaged, but have recently decided to amicably end their long relationship and remain friends.
"She's still a part of my life," he explained the turn their relationship has taken. "I love her to death. Her children is still my children, my children are still her children," he said (both have kids from previous relationships). "We want each other to be happy. It's nothing she did and it's nothing I did."

Jennifer Hudson has repaid singer/songwriter Ne-Yo for helping pen songs on her debut album, by recording a duet with the R+B hunk for his next release. The hot couple recently teamed up in the studio to work on the Dreamgirls star's debut, and she's so impressed with his efforts so far, Hudson has agreed to record a duet with her new pal.
Ne-Yo tells MTV News, "We did a duet together and it came out very hot. The name of the song is called LEAVIN' TONIGHT and... it's one of those songs where I am clearly being out-sang and I know it. "But, because it is Jennifer Hudson and she has such an amazing voice, it's just an honor to be on the track with her. "The bigness of her voice and the regularity of my voice, the contrast between the two is like night and day and it makes perfect sense."

Page Six reports:Besides tangling last week with Simon Cowell of "American Idol," the show that gave the
ungrateful divaher big break, the singer tried to back out of performing at Saturday's taping of the Soul Train Awards show in Los Angeles."Jennifer called Friday and said she couldn't make it," said our source.
"Soul Train" producer Don Cornelius immediately called Clive Davis, the legendary J Records mogul who created the careers of Whitney Houston, Alicia Keyes and dozens of other artists.
"Clive called Jennifer and read her the riot act. He said, 'Get you're ass out to L.A.' and then hung up on her."
The strong talk from her de facto boss evidently worked because "she showed up."

Foxy Brown isn't just a bully in beauty salons - she's a menace on the road, too.
The curvy superstar has been busted on 16 traffic violations in New York in less than three years, according to state DMV officials.
Brown's been cited for everything from blowing red lights to weaving across lanes of traffic without signaling, officials said.
Can anybody say "Call a limo, Foxy"? The platinum-selling rapper shows up for court dates wearing hot designer dresses and toting $1,000 handbags. But she somehow can't find a way to pay New York State $4,780 in fines and surcharges, the Department of Motor Vehicles said.
What's more, the DMV says Brown shouldn't be behind the wheel at all. She's also been hit with citations for operating without a license, insurance or an inspection.
Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, has only a learner's permit in New York State.
Her right to get a license here has been revoked because she repeatedly fails to answer traffic tickets, according to state DMV officials.
"She has to answer all these different summonses before she's allowed to drive," DMV spokesman Ken Brown said.
The diva did obtain a New Jersey license in 2003, but it has been suspended since last March because she failed to appear on an earlier summons, New Jersey officials said. The blizzard of tickets from the men in blue hasn't stopped Brown from getting behind the wheel.

Snoop Dogg was held by police in Stockholm last night on suspicion of using illegal drugs, after police stopped him and he was "deemed to be under the influence of narcotics."SOURCE: TMZ
The rapper was on his way to a party after his Sunday night concert with Diddy when, as a police spokesman told the AP, the car the rapper was riding in was stopped, and Snoop and "a female companion" were suspected of using drugs and were detained at a Stockholm police station.
"He underwent some tests that will now be sent away for analysis," said the spokesman. "In two to three weeks, we'll know if he was on something." Swedish cops didn't specify what narcotics may have been involved.
Sweden, which has some of Europe's strictest drug laws, has also spelled trouble for fellow musicians Pete Doherty and Axl Rose, who were both fined last year for various run-ins with the law. Snoop, for his part, was arrested three times last fall on drug and weapons infractions, all in the Los Angeles area.
