Barnes-Joseph, who says she is currently confined to her bed, will undergo more surgery in October and sees a physical therapist every other day. This is all because allegedly Remy thought she stole $3000 from her purse while at a club."They think that because they're rappers that they need to make a name for themselves."
Barnes-Joseph is still recovering from the two bullets that cops say Remy Ma, 26, pumped into her midsection on July 14.
When Brown, 27, got into trouble again last week, Barnes-Joseph was not surprised.
"It's ridiculous, the stupid things she's doing," Barnes-Joseph told the Daily News.

"I have not seen or spoken to my daughter since early June and I have no prospect of speaking to her anytime soon due to Whitney's actions," Brown declared in Orange County Superior Court filings released last week.
Brown has been trying to overturn a judge's default judgment to nullify the couple's marriage and grant Houston sole custody of 14-year-old Bobbi Kristina.
During a court hearing in April, Houston testified that Brown was "unreliable" and that she didn't need spousal or child support.
Brown disputes her claim, saying he's been involved in their daughter's life and was her primary caretaker when the couple lived in Atlanta. [SOURCE]

Giles Fielder-Civil said he believed Winehouse and his son, Blake Fielder-Civil, had used cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin and were in "abject denial" about their problem.
"I think they believe they are recreational users of drugs and they are in control," Fielder-Civil told British Broadcasting Corp. radio Tuesday. "Clearly they are addicts."
He said fans should send a message to Winehouse "that her addiction and her behavior are not acceptable."
"Perhaps it is time to stop buying records," Fielder-Civil said. "It's a possibility, to send that message."
However, Winehouse's father said a boycott would do little good.
"It's all clutching at straws," Mitch Winehouse told the BBC. "There's only one way out of this, and anybody with any drug experience will tell you ... that the only way out of this is not sectioning them, not locking them up. At some point they are going to reach rock bottom ... and at that point they will say, `Listen, I don't want to do this anymore.'" [SOURCE]

Polow Da Don: Just the “King of the White Girls.” I ain't self proclaimed but I run with it. [Laughs] There was a stage in my life where I went crazy with dating white women. I have nothing against black women, but they’re raised differently. White women are raised to respect and serve their men. Black women are taught to question [their men]. Black women look at submission as being weak. White women look at submission as being a woman. And anyone who has a problem with this statement is ignorant. Just look at the divine order; it goes man, woman, child. [SOURCE]Wow...that's definitely a bold statement there buddy! “First I want to apologize for all the things that I’ve done and that I have allowed to happen,” Vick said at a news conference following his appearance in U.S. District Court. In his written plea, Vick admitted helping kill six to eight pit bulls and supplying money for gambling on the fights. He said he did not personally place any bets or share in any winnings. The NFL suspended him indefinitely and without pay Friday after his plea agreement was filed. Merely associating with gamblers can trigger a lifetime ban under the league’s personal conduct policy.
“I made a mistake in using bad judgment and making bad decisions,” he said. “Dogfighting is a terrible thing.”
Vick said he wasn't honest in his previous statements, saying he was "ashamed."

He concluded by saying, “I offer my deepest apologies to everyone. And I will redeem myself. I have to.” [SOURCE]

Well, the jury is in, or rather the overnight Nielsen numbers are, for Court TV’s debut of “Star Jones.” And the verdict is good for the prosecutor turned TV talk-show host. In its 3 p.m. ET time slot Monday, the premiere attracted some 452,000 total viewers. At first blush that doesn’t look like bragging rights, but remember we’re talking about daytime viewing in the month of August.
Actually, that’s a great number for a daytime premiere airing during the doldrums of August, and it represents substantial growth for the hourlong time period Star now graces. Compared to the prior four weeks for that time slot, total viewers zoomed up by 137 percent. The demos look good too, up 124 percent for adults in the 25-54 demo, and up 105 percent for women 25-54. The first bump in the evening came when a promised Rolls-Royce Phantom failed to appear at Mr. Chow to take Fox to the party. Her dinner companion, Star Jones, dropped her off instead.
Then there was a red carpet kerfuffle when Bronx rapper Remy Ma arrived uninvited."Remy and her management were asked not to attend by the club in advance, due to her pending court case for attempted murder," says an organizer. But like any good diva, the songbird strutted her curves in a tight dress on the red carpet until "she was turned away at the door by a wall of security."
The next day, a check for Fox's $2,500 appearance fee was rejected by her bank because it was drawn on a closed account.
When contacted, celebrity stylist Messiah McNair admitted he bounced the check, and promised to replace the money. But a little later he called back, clearly irked at Fox that the information had got out.

Fox was on a plane to Los Angeles late yesterday and unable to respond before press time. But a pal who was by her side during the party denied she imbibed any alcohol. Superior Court judge barred Fox from consuming alcohol, pending her upcoming arraignment on a March DUI.

In a hearing held to discuss several motions before the trial starts next month, Assistant State's Atty. Shauna Boliker again urged Cook County Criminal Court Judge Vincent Gaughan to bar the public from viewing the tape in court, which she said would be harmful to the girl portrayed in the video. The judge does make a great point however...The defense contends that it would be a re-victimization of the alleged girl in the video, but since the girl denies that it is her, there is no victimization. He says that if the girl agrees to testify, he will change his ruling...fair enough!
In 2006, both the prosecution and the defense asked the judge to limit viewing of the tape. Defense lawyers sought to bar both the media and the public from seeing the tape, saying it would hinder Kelly's chances of getting a fair trial. Prosecutors sought to keep the tape from being viewed by the public. [SOURCE]

Amy Winehouse was on her best behaviour in her first trip to the pub since fleeing rehab, according to punters today.
Star and husband Blake Fielder-Civil hit the pub last night after escaping the exclusive The Causeway rehab clinic in Essex yesterday.
But a local resident in The Old Eagle pub in Camden said the singer seemed "in control" and relaxed when she popped into the boozer. The pub regular, who refused to be named, said: "She came in with her husband and another friend last night.
"She had a quiet drink in the corner and she seemed in control and fine. She was looking really good and it looks like she might be getting back on track.
"She smiled really nicely at me when she left.
"I didn't know her from Adam, but as she went past me I said 'Hi, are you alright' and she smiled back at me as if to say 'I'm alright, thanks'.
"She didn't seem stressed or harassed at all. I didn't see what she was drinking, but she didn't seem drunk in the slightest.
"I didn't pay any attention to the husband to be honest because I was just looking at her, but hopefully this is it and she's sorting herself out now, because she's so talented and it would be a shame for her to waste it." [SOURCE]

"I might change the name of my album from ‘The Greatest Story Never Told’ to ‘F*ck Al Sharpton.’ I hate Al Sharpton. This is the kind of @#!* that I'm talking about. They're killing kids in New Jersey and all across the country and all a @#*$% got to talk about is rap lyrics? @#*$ that about they're our elders and we gotta respect them. I'm tired of this. They're like the parents, but the parents are crucifying the kids.[SOURCE]In response, Rev. Al's camp from the National Action Netork released the following statement...
“From time to time we do encounter people that have sexual fantasies about Reverend Al Sharpton, but they are always women and Crump’s proposition is a first,” says Foy. “However, in keeping with the National Action Network’s Decency Initiative, I am sure Rev. Sharpton would not call Crump the “N” “B” or “H” word. And, despite Crump’s personal request, I am sure Reverend Sharpton would not call him a f-g--t. He would just pray for him. We at NAN are pro civil rights for everyone, even Levell Crump who has not had a banner year since his debut album in 2003.”

"I did my part!" Cannon told PEOPLE Tuesday night at Ecko's 5th annual "Tikva Drive for Life," a charity golf event to support orphaned and abandoned children in the Ukraine. "You did what you had to do ... you made the commitment. Now it's like, let's just enjoy this for right now."Hmmm...I thought it would be better to get to know a person before proposing...But that's just me. But if they feel the need, they definitely need to keep it slow. I give them a 50/50 chance on actually making it to alter.
The Drumline actor – who popped the question to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks in May – says they haven't set a date or a place for the ceremony.
"We haven't really talked about a lot of that stuff. You've got to take it slow," he says.
Cannon – who is gearing up to host the Teen Choice Awards with Hilary Duff on August 26 – is a fan of the long engagement because, "you get to know people."
"It's that preparation time to see if this is what you really want," the comedian/actor said at the Tuesday night event, held at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan.

According to reports the 27-year-old, whose real name is Inga Marchand, turned herself in to detectives at the 77 Precinct at around 2:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon. She was charged with felony assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon.Damn Shame!
Brown was arraigned last night and released on $5,000 bail. Her next court date is Sept. 26.
Police say the trouble-prone rapper, who is on parole, was accused of assaulting her 25-year-old neighbor on July 30 at around 6:50 p.m. at the corner of Carlton Avenue and Prospect Place. The rapper allegedly smacked the woman with her cell phone, a Blackberry, during an argument.
The victim was reportedly taken to Brooklyn Hospital for loosening of the teeth, swelling of the lip and swelling of the right eye. She filed a complaint with police, and after an investigation, the rapper agreed to turn herself in yesterday. [SOURCE]

“Halle is so happy right now,” said an insider. “She’s wanted a baby for so long. But at the same time she’s scared because she is very aware of the complications that having diabetes can cause during pregnancy. She’s doing everything possible to make sure her baby is born healthy.”In other Halle Berry news that we know are true, she just signed on to be reunited on screen with Monster's Ball co-star Billy Bob Thorton in the movie Tulia, about a lawyer that works on behalf of a group of local black men who are wrongly convicted of their involvement in a drug ring.
And Halle isn’t taking any chances. She’s making sure she receives the best possible medical care to control her blood sugar level while she’s expecting.
Halle was “absolutely delighted” after discovering that she and model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, 32, are expecting a baby in the spring. Halle’s been dating him since November 2005. The pregnancy is going to mean a lot of juggling for the busy actress, who has a string of projects in the pipeline – but motherhood is Halle’s number one priority, say friends.
“The most important thing for Halle is that she can share it with Gabriel. He’s the best thing that has ever happened to her. Obviously being pregnant in your 40s means you have to take extra care of yourself, and, having diabetes, Halle is aware that she will have to take things very easy during her pregnancy.”

Entertainment columnist Janet Charlton is reporting a laundry list of bad behavior from Stephen Belafonte, the man who married Melanie Brown in a secret wedding ceremony last June.
According to Charlton, the couple’s marriage certificate contains the name Stephen Belafonte, but his real last name is reportedly Stansbury. In the past he has tried to pass himself off as Dionne Warwick's nephew and Harry Belafonte's son, Charlton writes.
He has criminal records in New Jersey, San Diego and Los Angeles, according to the column. The L.A. infractions include assault with a deadly weapon in Beverly Hills and vandalism and assault on a roommate in Hollywood.
Charlton also suggests that there is more than one assault and battery charge against Belafonte than the one involving Nicole Contreras, the mother of his 3-year-old daughter, Giselle. [SOURCE]

"It was only when Amy saw her family falling apart that she realized she had to do something. She confessed that she and Blake had drug problems and had to have treatment together."Amy, was taken to hospital last week after taking a cocktail of heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, the horse tranquillizer ketamine and booze. [DAMN!]
"They both admitted taking cocaine and heroin. But they denied they had been injecting heroin. At one point, both Amy and Blake stripped off in front of Georgette to prove they had not been using needles.
"But they now realize that if they don't get help now, they will both die young. This is their watershed, their wake-up call. Both families were terrified by the state Amy and Blake had got themselves in and decided enough was enough. It was the first time Blake also admitted he had a drug problem. [SOURCE]

MTV named Lil’ Wayne’s the hottest MC right now, what are your thoughts on that? Then he comes out real crazy at Kanye West and the battle of albums, saying he will cut his solo career short if Kanye sells more...
MTV can suck my dick. It doesn’t matter. I could say whatever I want. If I want to be an asshole, idiot, I could just say whatever I want. You know what I mean, like, I’m just doing this as an example, because I don’t really mean literally MTV could—I could say it, like MTV could say that that’s their favorite artist because that’s one person’s opinion. Whoever they said, “Can you go out and set up this list for us.” That’s their opinion who they put in. They put Game number three when I wrote the three singles that created him. What does that mean? That I’m number 3? Because you're not into me this week, I get a chance to sit in the number eight spot, but the project that I created is number three.
If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I’ll no longer write music. I’ll write music and work with my other artists, but I won’t put out any more solo albums.Riiiiight... Talk about publicity...Is me or does 50 seem real hungry for the limelight in this because Kanye doesn't seem to be responding to the foolery...All I'm saying is numbers don't lie and well, "Graduation" is #2 on the Amazon Top Hip Hop & Rap and Pop Rap Chart, compared to 50's "Curtis" at #9.
And I bet this, when Kanye West’s sales come in, he’s gonna have a 70% decrease [the second week] ’cause Def Jam is gonna buy records to keep him closer to 50 Cent. So watch the first week and then watch the second week. Watch his @#* drop off the planet. We keep our angles covered before we make a decent bet. [SOURCE]

The criticism that D’Angelo and I received about our relationship only began once he became successful. What people didn’t realize was that before he became successful there was Angie Stone from the group Vertical Hold — a strong beautiful sister who dated somebody who had not even crossed the threshold of the industry yet. When I was dating him he wore glasses, had short hair and his pants were hanging down to his butt. He was just a 19-year-old kid with big shorts and nobody cared and no one saw his beauty but me. And I told him, “You are beautiful. I promise you when your record drops your lips are gonna become famous, your eyes—everything will become famous. But he couldn’t see it because his self-esteem wasn’t where it is today. He didn’t even have an image and his hair was really short so I braided his hair with thread for his first album cover. It wasn’t until Brown Sugar came out that people actually took a good look at him and said, “You know what? He’s fine.” Then all of a sudden, he’s so fine he shouldn’t be with me. [SOURCE]

Allegedly someone inside the Interscope camp is about to lose their job or their head because a video of 50’s 3rd single, called “Follow my Lead” featuring Robin Thicke just leaked to the web. Mind you, this single isn’t supposed to come out until October….after 50’s album drops and after his Justin Timberlake collabo dies out. But now 50’s carefully laid plan is all messed up and when he found out about the leak he flipped so crazy that told the head of Interscope that he’s boycotting all promo all media and possibly leaving the label… right now? Less than a month before the album drops?

Yes, I came in at No. 6 and sold 86,000 records — in a declining market, might I add. I’m very proud of that. Not everybody’s selling records like they used to. Even the biggest artists don’t come out and go platinum in a week anymore. It’s a different day and age in the music industry.
