This is Lee, and this is how he feels about Detroit's Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his now former Chief of Staff [and mistress] Christine Beatty getting caught in a web of lies after texts [on city phones] proved that they were putting in work, and not the paper and pens kind of work. Click here to see the video of Christine lying on the stand during the whistleblower trial that cost the city millions. I think Lee says it best!

Mayor Kilpatrick begged for forgiveness of the city while his wife Carlita affirmed her love in a taped message to the city of Detroit from the Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church. Watch the video here.

Rihanna is the latest celeb to don the milk mustache in support of drinking milk... Because it does a body good! The dress is fierce, this is my favorite haircut on her and I need that bracelet!

The ad says: "Drink it in. Pop star? Not exactly. Milk is more my move. Some studies suggest that teens who choose milk instead of sugary drinks tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. So, shut up and drink."

Lil' Mama, Chris Brown, and T-Pain are all on one track, which actually works nicer than it sounds on paper... I like Lil' Mama and her flow. I think she's probably the best young female rapper to hit the scene in years and be a credible floacist. It may be why her project has been so hard to get going, despite a massive hit like "Poppin'." Hopefully this single will give her a boost and drive more interest in her project.

The video is pretty fly, too.

New fresh music is always appreciated and hot sounds are more than welcomed. I urge you to get to know this new group The D.E.Y., think The Fugees with a Latin twist. Composed of lyricists Emilio “Yeyo” Cancio-Bello and Rafael “Divine” Torres along with Nuyorican songstress Élan Luz Rivera, the bilingual Latino trio fuses hip-hop, R&B, pop, and Afro-Latino influences for a unique, singing/rapping fusion-heavy sound that celebrates Latinos’ rich cultural heritage. You know I rep for the Boriquas!

You don't have to speak Spanish or be Latin to enjoy their sound and feel the beat. The DEY is poised to revolutionize the Latin, pop, and urban markets with its eclectic debut, which features production by Timbaland, JR Rotem, Stargate, and more.

The first single “Give You The World” was produced by J.R. Rotem [Sean Kingston, Britney Spears] and has premiered on MiTRL and TRL. Sean Kingston and The DEY shot the video this past weekend for their second single, "There's Nothin'." Make sure to look out for their debut in on Epic Records this April!

I guess all the TUG scandals were too much for Jennifer Freeman [Claire]... According to Bossip, Marques Houston and Jennifer are apparently no longer engaged. Yeah, they got engaged in November, I guess. I missed that too. Either way it's ended. Maybe he'll get back with Mila? word is he "has not been able to get over the fact that she slept around with a lot of dudes before they were together (including B2K’s Lil Fizz and Omarion)."

All I'm saying is, I am not trying to be on Lil' Wayne's bad side! He totally flipped on stage after arriving 3 hours late for his sold out show in Richmond, VA. I'd be pretty peeved too if I'd just caught yet another drug charge...

Just to add fuel to the fire that Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds' sham of marriage/divorce was nothing more than a publicity event...Eddie was spotted shaking his donkey tale at the opening of The Bank club at the Bellagio in Las Veags this weekend. So what so bad about partying just a couple of weeks after pulling a Britney Spears? Well leaving with the chick you just met in the club for one, and two, where are you going with that What's Happenin' ass hat on?

Word on the curb is that Tracey called it quits after Eddie got physical...hmmm? I still think they ended the game after people found out the marriage wasn't legal. I don't think they ever intended to make it legal. I am sure there were some major stipulations that would have made someone a lot less richer, damn that alimony...

[MSNBC] There were two true stunners Saturday night: the size of Sen. Barack Obama’s margin of victory over Sen. Hillary Clinton — 28 percentage points — but just as significant this number: Total turnout for Democrats in their primary was greater than the turnout for the Republican primary in this state, which is one of the most loyally Republican in the nation.

Four years ago about 293,000 Democrats voted in the state’s primary: Saturday Obama alone got more than that number of votes.

Why did Obama win South Carolina and what does this triumph portend for future contests?

One short answer: He and his campaign staffers worked.
Can I just say that I get excited at the thought of Michelle Obama as the first lady, she is such a strong, intelligent, and virtuous woman! By any standards...

Lord be a fence! When I first saw the above picture of Jamie Foxx at the Pepsi Stuff Launch Party, my heart skipped a beat, and not in the good way. I thought he ran into Amy Winehouse and took a hit of her crack...

BUT it wasn't that... He is currently filming a new movie, The Soloist, which about Nathaniel Ayers, a schizophrenic, homeless musician who went from Skid Row in Los Angeles to playing at Walt Disney Concert Hall. You can read the real life story here. The story sound like an Oscar-friendly movie!

Some fresh new music has leaked from the guys of Making the Band 4 [no name yet...] who are set to release their debut effort this March. We'll get a first hand look at the fun and hopefully drama that came along with putting their album together.

The track is "Got Me Going" which I like, it's a smooth track. I don't feel like it's strong enough to be their lead single. I almost want them to knock some heads off with a hot ballad because they have great voices. I really like Roberts voice, but homie needs some clippers in his life. ...thank the sweet baby Jesus. It seems as though that video of Amy Winehouse coked up was the straw that broke the camels back. Her father, Mitch, hired 24-hour surveillance to keep an eye on her so the video was only testament to the truth...

Mitch told press, “I’ve spoken to her already and she is fine. She says she is OK, so no problems. To be honest, all that video shows is what everybody knew anyway. Yes, obviously I am worried about her but this video doesn’t show anything we didn’t already know before.”

She met with her label, Universal Records, today before heading to the rehab facility to check herself in for long-awaited treatment. Lopsided beehive back and all...
“Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors,” read a statement from Universal Music Group.

"She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards. She is nominated in an incredible six categories,” the press release added.

“Amy entered the facility by mutual agreement and continues to receive the full support of all concerned. Amy is the most talented and important musical artist of her generation and has made huge strides on her road to recovery. Universal Music Group wants nothing more than to see her take the time she needs to come back to full health and fulfill her incredible potential with the label.”
Sounds like they pulled the trump card and told her to either get right or get gone! Hopefully she can get it right before the Grammys, though the time running out...

Tyler Perry is poppin' these babies out like popcorn! The next release is the film adaption of Meet the Browns, originally one of his stage plays. The movie features a slew of actors from Angela Bassett to Lance Gross [House of Payne] to Rick Foxx. Of course it has Mr. Brown and Cora [David and Tamela Mann].

The original play was hilarious, you should rent it if you haven't seen it. It up there with Madea's Family Reunion. The movie takes on Tyler's newest direction which is more of a dramedy. The plot of the movie is different than the play however.

Meet the Browns will be in theaters March 21st and word is Madea Goes to Jail is in the works to be brought to the silver screen, as well as an all new movie A Family that Preys.

Once again Lil' Wayne has been arrested for drug charges, this time in Arizona and they are some very hefty charges! He's been charged with possession of cocaine, possession of ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cops say they found 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine and 41 grams of ecstasy pills on his tour bus -- after they stopped at a Border Patrol checkpoint.

But if the drugs weren't enough, they also reportedly found $22,000 in cash and a 40-caliber pistol. Does that surprise you? He is still facing those drug charges in Iowa.

What boggles me is the continued lack of common sense, at what point to you realize that you are not invincible. No matter how many records you have.

As I posted before, Vibe's February issue [on stands now] has a great feature on School Daze as it approaches it's 20th anniversary and they asked a few celebs about their HBCU experience and how the movie affected them...
"School Daze definitely had an impact on me choosing a HBCU because it was the first insight I had into a black college. The whole Jiggaboo light skin vs. the dark skin [dance] scene, where they’re singing back and forth, I think if you ask anyone, that’s the scene that stands out. There’s a whole controversy and culture [about] it, but School Daze addressed those issues in an over-the-top, comical way.

"I pledged Delta Sigma Theta. I can’t speak for other people in terms of whether they took offense to [the portrayal of black Greek fraternities and sororities in School Daze], but people in general take film entirely way too seriously. School Daze was meant for enjoyment. It’s not a documentary. I had several trials and tribulations just as anyone does in school, and the whole going to an HBCU as “Rudy” is a whole other experience in itself. But I couldn’t have imagined going anywhere else but Spellman." [SOURCE]

With Girlfriends firmly in her past, Jill Marie Jones chats with Essence.com about her current projects and much talked about departure from the hit show that made her a household name, or well at least her character Toni Childs was…

Essence.com: Nothing wrong with spreading your wings, which brings me to your departure from Girlfriends. Tracee Ellis Ross said in an interview that the reason you didn’t return was because the cast did not receive the huge raise they were expecting. Is that true?

J.M.J.:
First of all, let me tell you why I left. I left because I wanted to do movies. My contract was up after my sixth season and people forget that just like the network can choose whether or not to renew your contract, I can also choose and evaluate whether or not I want to come back. My actor’s chair that has Girlfriends and my name on it, you know the director’s chair? Well, on the very last day of my sixth season, I told them to grab my chair and put it in my car for me. So why would I take my chair if I thought I was coming back? Believe you me, I would tell you. I’ve never made a decision based on money. I was on the show for six years and I think that’s a good run. There’s so much more I want to do in my career and so much more I want to know and learn, but my departure definitely had nothing to do with money.

Essence.com: Well, the second part of Tracee’s quote expressed her sadness that after six years of working together you didn’t share your decision to leave with the cast. Is that true?

J.M.J:
I’ll be completely honest: I just didn’t really. I wish I had a better answer or could tell you that I even thought about it. Maybe it was a lapse of judgment, maybe I should have called—I didn’t really think about it. When my call came in to say, ‘We’re going to pick up Girlfriends for another season, does Jill want to come back?’ My management and I were like, ‘Thank you, but no thank you.’ So maybe I should have made phone calls, but I didn’t really think about it. When the cast first came back for their seventh season, I sent them all—individually, every single person of Girlfriends—a big bouquet of flowers. I didn’t leave Girlfriends because I was upset or wanted more money. It really wasn’t that deep. It’s so disappointing that because I wanted to dream bigger or experience something new, it received all this hoopla and drama around it. I really just wanted to do movies. It really was just that simple.

Amy Winehouse was caught on camera drugging up on Ecstacy and Crack, and that was after she took six Valium pills to “bring [her]self down.” In the video below you can see her smoking the pipe and mumbling crazy is like, “If I was that cat I’d leave on my own accord — I’d call a cab. It ain’t right. This ain’t Toys R Us. They took my cat.”

A friend of the waif-like chart-topper said last night, "Amy is locked in a nosedive towards oblivion — she is killing herself. The video shows a woman completely out of control."

At this rate she, I am sure they have her obituary ready to roll like Britney's.

A statement issued by Universal Records, Winehouse's record label said, "We are deeply disappointed and upset by these latest revelations and are doing everything we can to offer Amy our full support in dealing with her problems."

Somebody get Dr. Drew on the line, hell even Dr. Phil, anyone that can knock some sense into her. Better yet, call the producers of A&E's Intervention! So much for progress...

This is a complete shocker!
Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday in a Manhattan apartment, face-down and naked at the foot of his bed with prescription sleeping pills nearby, police said.

There was no obvious indication of suicide, NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said.

Ledger’s publicist, Mara Buxbaum, issued a statement this Tuesday night, saying, “We are all deeply saddened and shocked by this accident. This is an extremely difficult time for his loved ones and we are asking the media to please respect the family’s privacy.”

According to The New York Times, his body was moved to the floor, and after receiving no response from the actor after shaking him, the masseuse and housekeeper called authorities.

“We are investigating the possibility of an overdose,” Browne said. “There were pills within the vicinity of the bed.”

Alica Keys recording live @ BBC Radio 1

Alicia Keys picks an unexpected song to cover on BBC Radio 1’s “The Live Lounge for Jo Whiley” with The Fray's "How to Save a Life." I really love this song and I think it was a good match for her voice. She really fell into the song toward the end. It's always interesting to hear artists take on hits from different genres.

Classic Scene: Wannabees vs. Jiggaboos

It's been 20 years already? School Daze was released February 12, 1988 and we were introduced to the campus of Mission College. The movie served as not only a classic Spike Lee Joint but as microcosm of the African American community.

Interlaced with musical numbers and memorable scenes were messages that looked at the relationship between class and skin color, divesting from S. Africa, education, the greek system and more. It showcases some of Hollywood's then unknown stars, like Lawrence Fishburne [when he was still Larry], Tisha Campbell, Samuel L. Jackson, Kadeem Hardison, and Jasmine Guy. The poignant film is still applicable today...

If you have never seen School Daze, you need to go to you local Blockbuster and snatch a copy like now! Better yet order a copy, it will be a well spent $10! I need to myself because my VHS is worn out!

Plus, this month's Vibe has a great feature with tons of quotes and behind the scenes notables...pick up a copy, it's an interesting read.

Who knew? Nate Dogg suffered a mild stoke over the holidays which has left him paralyzed on his left side. The good news is that he is expected to have a full recovery and his voice has not been affected.

"Time will tell everything, obviously. The doctor can only guess what the outcome will be," Nate's rep, Rod McGrew said. "But based on situations with similar people his age, and based on his health, the prognosis is good right now."

McGrew explained the singer has "neural-muscular issues that have to be jump-started." Those issues extend to his sense of touch and the ability to walk correctly, McGrew said.

Despite the uncertainty of the Grammys due to the writers strike, Matthew Knowles sent the following statement to announce that Beyonce will be making her money performing on the award show, should it even happen.
“The work of The Recording Academy is vital to the music industry, and we have every intention of being with the entire music community to celebrate the Grammys’ 50th birthday in February. Beyoncé, as well as my other artists Solange and Trinitee 5:7, have been asked to participate and will do so. We have an incredible Beyoncé performance that will be announced soon. We wish the Grammys the best.”

Martin Lawrence and a host of others are back with another comedy movie...

Dr. RJ Stevens [Martin Lawrence] is a talk show host who has built a mega-successful career for himself while simultaneously completely denying his humble Southern roots. Returning home for his parents' 50th wedding anniversary, the good doctor hopes to impress the small-town rubes who tormented him as a child with his fat bank roll and sophisticated airs. However, his family is completely unimpressed with how much of a snob Stevens has become and do their best to deflate his swelled head so he can rejoin the human race.

It also stars comedians Mike Epps, Cedric the Entertainer and Mo'Nique as well as Joy Bryant. Is looks pretty funny, though I'll probably wait for the DVD...

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds' faux wedding and illegal marriage lasted a whole 2 weeks! Seeing that the ish wasn't even legally recognized, it further justifies my conspiracy theory that it was all a business arrangement and publicity stunt. A very expensive Bora Bora publicity stunt.

I know Babyface and Johnny Gill are somewhere giggling!
"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further," Murphy and Edmonds tell PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.”
I wonder how much Essence paid for the pictures of their wedding?

Maybe Tracey couldn't handle Eddie tyrannical nature!? According to Janet Charlton Eddie had some seriously controlling ways:
When Eddie was married to his wife Nicole, he was LORD AND MASTER around the house. According to an employee who worked in his house, persnickety Eddie has strict rules. He expected his beautiful wife Nicole to appear at the breakfast table every day with her makeup and hair DONE, and looking very together. But she was for his eyes only. He instructed every guy who worked at the house - gardeners, repairmen, pool men etc, NOT to look directly at her! Anyone caught staring at Nicole was instantly fired.

Ne-Yo addressed a number of thing with Essence.com, from the R. Kelly Tour, to being gay, to his baby mama [that's not really his baby] drama... That's the most interesting part for me. Ne-Yo seems to not filter he words from his brain to his mouth so we get the good on what going on with their court situation...

Essence.com: You’ve been the target of many rumors, but I love that you keep it moving. Let’s address the rumor regarding your financial dispute with your son’s mom, who was supposedly getting evicted due to your refusing to pay child support. Is that true?

N.Y.:
There is truth to some of it. She was being evicted because I refused to pay her rent any longer once I found out her child was not my biological son. But I’ve been his father since the day he came on his earth so I told her anything he needs I got him, but you are a grown a-- woman with working arm and legs—ain’t nothing wrong with you so go get yourself a job.

Essence.com: Why in the world would she try to take you to court after you agreed to give financial support in raising her son?

N.Y.:
She wasn’t happy with the amount I offered to give her and said, ‘No, I need more.’ So she decided to take me to court. I asked her why and told her she wouldn’t win because he was my not biological son. So I said, ‘Fine, you get nothing. Let’s go to court.’

Essence.com: Whoa! So why did you wait to get a blood test?

N.Y.:
Well, she told me when she got pregnant that it could be between me and another guy, so I knew that from the beginning. When the baby was born everyone assumed that he was mine because he looked so much like me so no one really questioned it except my mother because she never trusted her and urged me to get a blood test.

Essence.com: How did that discovery affect you?

N.Y.
: It hurt me for a minute, but you know....

Essence.com: Do you still see him?

N.Y.:
No, because she doesn’t allow me to, so what can I do? As a mother she has the right, I don’t.

Well, I can't blame him. She's duck for trying to ask for more money when that's not his child. The family court doesn't uphold verbal agreements and if he's not legally the father he has no requirement to support him. Hope he didn't put his name on the birth certificate...that's a legal document so then he could be held liable, but other than that he's doesn't have to pay anything.

The steroid crack down has crossed over sports into the entertainment realm with an Albany-based investigation that has led to celebs being named...According to Times Union, information has surfaced that named Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Wycklef, and Tyler Perry among thousands that "may have used or received prescribed shipments of steroids and injectable human growth hormone in recent years."

There is no evidence of illegal activity based on the information and that the investigation is aimed at "anti-aging clinics, doctors and pharmacists who prescribed the drugs."

And we wondered where Dr. Dre's hulk makeover came from?! As for MJB, the article says that anti-aging supplements were "shipped prescribed human growth hormone or steroids — sometimes under fictitious names — at hotels, production studios, private residences, an upscale Manhattan fitness club and through the Long Island office of Michael Diamond, a chiropractor affiliated with the celebrities, sources said."

Solange gave her 2 cents about teen pregnancy from one young mom to another, Jamie Lynn Spears:
"I have been so blessed that my son is the coolest kid ever," Solange tells World Entertainment News Network of son, Daniel Julez J. Smith. ”Of course, that first year of not sleeping and just being dedicated to him had tough parts.

I've heard stories of people who were 14 that had kids and basically snapped into it and got into the groove of motherhood. A lot of people have doubts, but when you have a child I think it takes a really non-emotional person not to have a blast, no matter what age." [SOURCE]
A lot of people are up in arms about her comments, saying that it's ill-advised encouragement to say it's a "blast" and that her son is the "coolest."

Granted, being a teen mother is no walk in the park [being one myself, I know] however there isn't one person that can convince me to get down on myself or not feel blessed to have a child.

She also tells Billboard that she hopes to tour in support of Discipline in mid- to late summer.

Marion Jones will have a high price to pay after pleading guilty to lying to investigators about using performance-enhancing drugs and her role in a check-fraud scam. She was handed a 6 month sentence in prison despite her pleas to the judge for the shortest time away from her young children. The judge however was determined to send a message by sentencing her to the maximum allowed under her plea deal.

I feel for her fall from grace, mainly because I think her apology was sincere, but it's a sad to see what we believed to be a triumphant story of women athletics crumble.

Do you think this situation will hurt the sport of track and field? I think it does cast a shadow over the sport and the credibility of the athletes.

The autopsy has been completed for Kanye West's mother, Dr. Donda West and reveals that heart disease was the cause of her untimely death, along with suffering "multiple post-operative factors" after her cosmetic surgery.
"The final manner of death could not be determined," the coroner said in a statement. "Multiple post-operative factors could have played a role in the death. The exact contribution of each factor could not be determined. There was no evidence of a surgical or anesthetic misadventure." [SOURCE]
Sadly, her death is still shocking.

Missy Elliot snuck up on us with a new song [or two] for the Step Up 2 Soundtrack, which is due out this Spring. The track was produced by Swizz Beatz and definitely poppin'. Missy's been chillin' for a minute, so it good to hear new music from her. I hear she's working on a new album with Timbaland...interesting.

Missy Elliot - Ching-a-Ling

What do you think? Does Missy still have it?

Bey-Z and Kanye were laughing it up and shoo shooing at the New Jersey Nets game, where Beyonce took time to even sign a cast. Her boots are show stopping but I hear that even the players were in awe of Jay Z's leading lady. Whatever they were talking about must have been really funny!

Ciara was also spotted taking in some NBA action at the Atlanta Hawks game...she took time to pose for a few snap shots, cute as usual!

Michael Bivins talked to Essence.com about being in the industry for 25 years [damn I feel old]. After taking off the past year from touring, the guys are set to work on a new album and a movie.
We’re working on the 25th Anniversary album, which could possibly be released fourth quarter of this year. We plan to release a TV special right before the album comes out. Then there’s the life story movie through BET films with Vantage/Paramount Pictures to be released in 2009. Lastly, we’ll have the 25th Anniversary tour around the time of the movie release.
I wonder who would play each member in a movie? You got to cool it noooow! Oooohh, watch out! Will Bobby stay out of trouble long enough to join them?

He also talks about the break down of the group, his take on the state of R&B and when he plans to retire. Read the rest here.

There have been some ongoing pesky rumors that Lil' Boosie died, some date back to 2006, however they seemed to have surfaced again this week.

He isn't dead, he wasn't shot in a supermarket, he does have the sugar but alive and well.

Lord knows if he died, there'd be a Selena style riot in Baton Rouge and I'd hear about it.

When I first read about the small screen version of the Broadway production A Raisin in the Sun I was almost nervous it wouldn't happen [you know Hollyweird]...So I am so thrilled to see it come to fruition and it feels like it will be a great television moment when it airs on February 25th.

I also hope some of the Tony-award winning acting by Phylicia Rashad and Audra McDonalds rubs off on Diddy. From the preview, it looks like he holds his own in the phenomenal cast, which is also from the Broadway production.

One thing you can always say about Pimp C is that he always spoke truth, no matter how hilarious or taboo it was. In an unpublished interview with The Fader, he speaks on the mp3 and digital music debate:
You know what the problem is, man? It’s not that stuff undermining CD sales, it’s that most of the CDs are shitty. Bootlegging is a problem, it’s a problem for all of us but if you got a good product people still gonna go to the store and buy it. If somebody told me right now I could turn on my laptop and go get the new 8Ball & MJG album, I’m fit to go on there and get that ‘cause I’m a fan of and I want to hear it now. But guess what? If it’s shitty I just might not go buy it. What’s happening now is people are reviewing these albums a week before they really come out an if its not what its supposed to be, folks aint buying em.
Well said! Step your album game up and people might actually buy it. Plus, 10 tracks on an album is not enough, go back to studio.

Make sure you check out the rest of the interview, it has some good insight into Pimp C and his music philosophies.

Quick people...they swiftly released a statement from Mimi denying that she called J. Lo a pig, calling the gossip a "complete untruth."

"This is just some Internet gossip and it's pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real," Carey tells People.com. "This is another sad example of two strong women being pit against each other."

Mariah has an album due this spring, which explains why this random ass rumor came out. Drama always precedes an album release. Nothing new...

Check out the actual cover of ANTM's most recent winner Saleisha on Seventeen. She seems to rub some the wrong way, but I liked her. I thought she had a pretty nice personality, she very commercial but that's more realistic for a 20-something breaking into the industry.

She hasn't gone without controversy... Her eligibility was questioned because she has done print work [wig model] and television [Wendy's commercial] which is a ANTM contract no-no. Plus she attended Tyra's T-Zone camp, which was mentioned on the show. It didn't seem like she received much special treatment from Tyra though.

Word is she wasn't booked for fashion week because her agency wouldn't send her out, but her people said it was because of press commitments.

You can check out more scans and her interview after the jump...

So this is the highly anticipated video for Janet's comeback single "Feedback" from her upcoming album Discipline which is due out February 26th. The song is really starting to grow on me, but I still think it doesn't compare to the greatness of her past work like "Control" and "Rhythm Nation."

It was directed by Britain's Saam Farahmand...however I still get the "Oops I Did it Again" vibe with the space adventures and ponytail. Janet still has the dancing on lock, the end was pretty hot...that red outfit was extra fab as well!

Danity Kane will be duking it out with the MTB4 Boys and Donnie in the Bad Boy house on the newest season of Making the Band. The new season premieres on January 28th, where they will all be working on new albums.

Check out there newest leaked track "2 of You" which is a pop heavy dance song. I am not sure it goes hard like their debut single "Showstopper," but it's kinda catchy. Their first album was the ish, Diddy so fell off for under-promoting these babies.

I look forward to new music from the group, I think that Dawn, Aundrea, and D. Woods have such talented voices.

Word is that Amy Winehouse has been tapped to headline the Grammys this year. That is if she can make to the states, in addition to cleaning up her act, she'll have to get her visa. That could be a challenge with her recent arrest.

A source tells British newspaper the UK's Daily Mirror, "Amy is really excited to be asked to perform at the Grammys. It's a huge event.

"She's planning to do some sort of soul and Motown medley, and is even weighing up the possibility of a duet with some U.S. stars - particularly Kanye West, who has spoken in the past of wanting to work with her."

She's been keeping out of the spotlight and it seems to be helping her get back on track. Let's hope that she can get it straight to the new year...

Seeing that Britney Spears has lost her cotton pickin' mind, the courts have decided snatch away her visitation and granting K-Fed Ex sole physical custody.

Smart move.

All for the attention, stop paying attention to her crazy ass and she'll go away. Just not here to Louisiana...

Is it Aunt Viv showing off her brain game? That hairline is quite suspect! I haven't seen the triple x version, though.

Of course she is denying it.

To be a fly on the wall at Tenjune... Spies at the Miami club say that while New York and Tailor Made were partying it up, his number one enemy Buddah dropped in and bust that ass again!

“Buddha showed up around 3 a.m. and started a fistfight with Tailor Made over New York,” a partygoer tells Page Six. New York came to her man’s defense and tried to calm Buddha down, but it was no use — security intervened. The insider reveals that they pulled Buddha off Tailor Made and kicked him out of the club.

Again I say ewwwwwe...

Tiny announced via MySpace that she is indeed expecting another boy. This is child number 5 for T.I. but the third for the couple, and Tiny's third as well. It was March of last year that the couple lost their daughter to a still birth. Let's hope she is having a healthy pregnancy this time around. Though the stress of T.I. potentially being locked up for possibly decades on those pesky gun charges can't be helping the cause.

In related news, T.I.'s suppression hearing was delayed until February 18. This is the hearing that his lawyers are banking on to suppress the evidence, which is his best shot at beating these charges.

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds will have to take to the states to legalize their marriage since the seaside ceremony in Bora Bora was not a valid marriage. As a part of the French Polynesia, Bora Bora is under French law which only recognizes marriages of those that have been there at least 30 days or if performed at a town hall by a mayor.

The business partners lovebirds plan to properly marry once they return to the states, so say their reps.

Raz B and his brother Ricky were right on schedule caught leaving dinner with their molester/cousin Chris Stokes. Of course the paps where called to be there to capture the acting scene.

I am so over the whole B2kgate scandal, it's pure buffoonery!

If you ask me, Chris is a gutter butt trollup, he did something to them boys, someone is lying and they are all looking for their next 15 seconds of fame.

Raz has sexuality issues, his brother Ricky is the worst spokesperson for the situation because he couldn't keep his story straight with a ruler, and this is all some bullshit!

Listen to Ricky on Wendy Williams [because Matt Lauer was busy] and see how twisted all this ish is.

Barack Obama found his first victory on his road to the White House in Iowa after winning the Democratic Primary today with an impressive 38 percent. Obama took the lead over rivals John Edwards and Hilary Clinton, who both fell to two and three, respectively.

Obama's win essentially makes him the candidate to beat among Democrats, and a win next week in New Hampshire could put him in prime position to capture the nomination. The next big show down would be in South Carolina, where more than half of the voters in the Democratic primary are likely to be Black.

Boy who thought 2008 would start off so greasy! According to SandraRose.com, Vivica Fox is the rumored actress in the midst of a sex tape scandal...Damn, you are slippin' boo!
In the tape, an apparently inebriated Vivica can be seen on her knees servicing a male friend who surreptitiously taped the encounter on his cell phone. Allegedly the man, who lives in Atlanta, emailed the tape to friends who emailed it to Vivica. She quickly forwarded the tape to a friend at the Atlanta police department.

It isn’t known if Vivica filed an official complaint with the police or if she asked her police friend to handle the situation privately. At any rate, men tattle worse than females - especially here in the ATL - so the tape got out.

Ne-Yo may have been dismissed from the Double Up Tour, but he still wants his paper homie! Ne-Yo is suing the promoter Rowe Entertainment for the full amount negotiated to open for your boyfriend Kells.

The suit maintains Ne-Yo, born Shaffer Smith, was to be paid $785,000 for opening the 25-stop tour alongside singers Keyshia Cole and J. Holiday. The outing began Nov. 14, and Ne-Yo was fired prior to the third show on Nov. 19 and is still owed $735,000. Compound Touring and Smith are seeking unspecified damages.

Ne-Yo claims that "an unknown representative of R. Kelly urged Rowe to terminate Smith from the tour given the audience's and critics' more favorable reaction to Smith than the reaction to R. Kelly," the suit states. Compound Touring spent "substantial monies in preparation for the tour and turned down other touring and performance opportunities for Smith in reliance on Rowe's agreement that Smith would perform on the tour," according to the suit.

Sounds like a long court battle to me. He'll have to prove he was unjustly removed from the tour, which is subjective already, to say that he should be paid the remaining balance for work not done.

...let me count the ways. I love the fact that someone had way too much time on their hands to create this video of Celine Dion. [You have to say her name the way Kathy Griffin does for the full effect!]

I love me some Celine Dion, yes I do... No shame in it because her voice is beyond amazing. It's timeless and I am clearly not the only one who thinks that because she has sold over 100 million albums. Beyonce who? Britney who? Right.

But I too think she is a bit nutty, however I'll take it in return for her voice. Her new single "Taking Chances" and the album of the same name is great! Plus there is a song on there written by my boy The Dream, so you must pick it up!

Just as reports suspected, Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds tied the knot over the holidays, their rep tells People.

The pair were married on New Year's Day on a private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia in front of 25 friends and family.

In a sunset ceremony on the beach Tuesday, Edmonds walked barefoot down the aisle to Gladys Knight's "Makings of You." The bride wore a custom-designed form-fitting dress by stylist and designer Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, designer and owner of Baracci boutique. Murphy wore a cream suit and vest with an off-white handkerchief.

In attendance were Tracey's parents, Eddie's mother and brother Vernon, and best man Johnny Gill.

They sure seemed to go from divorcees to dating to married with some baby mama drama in between rather quickly. Do you think the marriage will last?

I know a few of you are going to gag, but Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush took their PDA-fest to Miami Beach to ring in the new year at Mansion. He should be depressed after the sad-ass performance the Saints gave this season!

The danced, cuddled, kissed, and all that jazz! I can't even be mad because they actually make a cute couple and despite the 5-year age gap, if they like it I love it...Rumors are already swirling that the pair are engaged, but I'll believe it when I see on Keeping Up with the Kardashians!

OMG, this could be great news to start the new year...Robin Thicke and his gorgeous wife Paula Patton came out to the opening of the 40/40 club and she looks totally with child. There have been a few rumors after spotting this bump at the VMAs last September.

We could only hope because their genes are deadly, that baby could so give Suri a run for her money!

These two are so uncoordinated...New York and Tailor Made sucked face at the Mansion New Year's Eve party in Maimi and by looking at the champagne on her shirt, she's not preggers like some say she is.

The reunion airs this Sunday, Jan. 6th at 9/8c. If you need a reason to watch, other than the pure bafoonery that will be displayed, the will be blood!
