Don't tell Kanye he doesn't have love for the hippies at Bonnaroo! After being booed and blasted by festival goers for his show starting 2 hours late, Kanye blasted back, loudly on his blog. He used the caps lock too...He must really be peeved! Kanye says the fans can blame the festival managers and Pearl Jam's lateness. Since the situation pushed his show closer to daylight, it ruined the Glow in the Dark experience, which seemed to upset him the most. Ya'll know Ye is sensitive about his work.

Here's a snippet of the very long and emotional post...
BONNAROO SHOULD HAVE RELEASED A STATEMENT IN MY DEFENSE BUT SINCE THEY HAVEN'T LET'S BREAK DOWN THE WALLS ON THIS TRUMAN SHOW AND LET YOU KNOW WHAT REALLY OCCURRED!!! FOR OVER A MONTH WE WENT BACK AND FORTH ON WETHER OR NOT WE COULD EVEN FIT MY STAGE AT THE FESTIVAL. ONE DAY THEY WOULD SAY YES... WE'D SEND THEM OUR SPECS THEN THEY THEY'D SAY OK... THEN THEY WOULD SEND SPECS BACK THAT DIDN'T FIT THE STAGE. WE WERE OBVIOUSLY DEALING WITH FUCKING IDIOTS WHO DIDN'T REALLY HAVE THE CAPACITY TO REALLY PUT ON THIS SHOW PROPERLY. THEY TRIED 2 GIVE ME A TIME SLOT WERE IT WAS STILL LIGHT OUTSIDE ... I HAVE A FUCKING LIGHT SHOW DUMB ASS, IT'S NOT CALLED GLOW IN THE DARK FOR NO REASON SQUID BRAINS! MY PEOPLE WORKED OUT A COMPROMISED STAGE PLOT AND A 3AM TIME SLOT AND I AGREED. FAST FOWARD TO THE DAY OF THE SHOW. MY PRODUCTION MANAGER TRIED TO LOAD IN FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE I WENT ON STAGE BUT THE FESTIVAL WOULDN'T ALLOW US TO DO ANYTHING UNTILL PEARL JAM LEFT THE STAGE. PEARL JAM ENDED ONE HOUR
LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Geez, Bonnaroo really pissed in his Cornflakes! Thankfully I'll catch the show at Essence, in all it's glory. You can read the full post after the jump...

I am sick of negative people who just sit around trying 2 plot my downfall... Why???? I understand if people don't like me because I like me or if people think tight clothes look gay or people say I run my mouth to much, But this Bonnaroo thing is the worst insult I've ever had in my life. This is the most offended I've ever been... this is the maddest I ever will be. I'm typing so fucking hard I might break my fucking Mac book Air!!!!!!!! Call me any name you want.... arrogant, conceited, narcissistic, racist, metro, fag whatever you can think of.... BUT NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! THIS SHOWS NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY TO BE GOOD AT SOMETHING THERE WILL BE PEOPLE THERE TO LIE ABOUT YOU AND BRING YOU DOWN! LIKE WAYNE SAYS PLEASE DON'T SHOOT ME DOWN CAUSE I'M FLYING! I'M FUCKING HURT BY THIS ONE. ALL I CARE ABOUT ARE THE FANS. JUST SAY THIS OUT LOUD IN A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE, "KANYE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT GIVING A GOOD PERFORMANCE." CAN ANYONE HONESTLY SAY THAT ????????? HAS ANYONE EVEN TAKEN THE TIME TO AT LEAST DO THE MATH??? LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AT THAT POINT WE'RE RACING AGAINST THE SUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AT 4:20AM DON COMES BACK 2 THE BUS AND TELLS ME, " IT WOULD TAKE 45 MORE MINUTES TO PUT ALL YOUR PYRO IN!" I SAY I HAVE TO GET OUT THERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE . I HIT THE STAGE AND PEOPLE HAD BEEN THROWING SHIT ON THE STAGE AND HAD ACTUALLY HIT THE JANE SCREEN WITH, I GUESS BOTTLES OR SOMETHING AND HAD BROKEN MY FUCKING SCREEN. REMEMBER WHEN YOU WERE A SHORTY AND WATER WOULD HIT THE TV?????? WHEN I GOT 2 "THROUGH THE WIRE" I STEPPED ON THE FRONT PART OF MY STAGE AND THERE WAS SO MUCH LIQUID ON THE STAGE I COULDN'T MOVE WITHOUT SLIPPING. I HAD TO ADJUST MY WHOLE PERFORMANCE STYLE BECAUSE OF IT. A FEW MORE SONGS IN AND THE SONG WAS ON IT'S WAY UP.. I CUT A FEW SONGS FROM THE SET BECAUSE I WANTED PEOPLE 2 EXPERIENCE STRONGER WHILE THERE WAS STILL SOME DARKNESS TO PERFORM IT IN. I'VE STRUGGLED WITH STRONGER FROM IT'S CONCEPTION. REMEMBER LAST SUMMER WHEN I CANCELED SOME TV APPEARANCES. IT WAS BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO PERFORM STRONGER IN THE DAYTIME. ANYONE WHO CAME TO THE GLOW TOUR CAN UNDERSTAND WHY I WANTED PEOPLE TO SEE IT PROPERLY. IT BROKE MY HEART THAT I COULDN'T GIVE THESE FANS STRONGER IN IT'S GREATEST FORM... BY THE TIME I GOT TO STRONGER IT WAS DAYTIME AND IT BROKE MY HEART. I'M SORRY TO EVERYONE THAT I DIDN'T HAVE THE ABILITY 2 GIVE THE PERFORMANCE I WANTED TO. I'M SORRY... SOMETIMES I GO 2, 3 DAYS W/O SLEEP WORKING ON MY PERFORMANCE... I HAVE TO ICE MY KNEES AFTER EVERY SHOW AND THEY HURT WHEN I WALK THROUGH THE AIRPORT... HAVING AN EXPENSIVE STAGE CUTS MY PAYDAY IN HALF... CALL ME WHAT YOU WANT BUT NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL!!!

Barack Obama makes another appearance on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine. In a new conversation with the historic Presidential candidate, Obama talks about the youth vote, his iPod collection, and his top three priorities as the President.
“If I had one musical hero, it would have to be Stevie Wonder,” says Obama, who grew up on Seventies R&B and rock staples including Earth, Wind and Fire, Elton John and the Rolling Stones. “When I was at that point where you start getting involved in music, Stevie had that run with Music of My Mind, Talking Book, Fulfillingness’ First Finale and Innervisions, and then Songs in the Key of Life. Those are as brilliant a set of five albums as we’ve ever seen.”
You can get a sneak peek of the upcoming July cover story, including audio at RollingStone.com

We've heard a bit of buzz about Jazmine Sullivan as a songwriter over the last year or so, but she's ready to hit the scene as a artist! Her debut single "Need U Bad" is a hot track featuring Missy Elliot and Lamb. I hear a bit of Lauryn Hill and Faith Evans in her vocals. She hails from Philly and her soulful raspy tone is fresh right now. I look forward to hearing more tracks from the up and coming songstress since her debut is definitely in heavy rotation right now.

Check out more about Jazmine on her Official MySpace.

This is definitely one my "Songs of the Moment" as I blast it in my car everyday! Let me first say [again] that Jennifer's eye makeup is alway fierce! I love her eyes... The video is a good visual for the song, I'm glad they put some money behind it, told a bit of a story, and has great eye candy. He's in one if Tyler Perry's latest plays that just came out on DVD. I'm not a huge fan of dreads but his are nice and he is sexy!

Jennifer worked it out in the video, too...3 snaps for her!

Oh Em Gee! I could write a novel about the horrible travel experience I just had with American Airlines. Delays, rude employees, no service, you name it...The pits! Absolute worst! They charge for everything, down to those funky peanuts. Four of the six flights I had in the last week were delayed.

However, I'm back! So I just wanted to vent that really quick before I grab a glass of Riesling and try to blog a little tonight. Posts should resume to normal over the next couple of days.

Thanks for all the well wishes, I've missed you guys too!

I am not going anywhere... I'm on a little vacation and while I thought I'd be able to blog a little, I was wrong. Shopping, eating, and hanging has totally taken priority! However the fun can only last so long and trust me I have plenty of ish to talk about so posts will resume next week.
Love ya! XOXO...

Now normally I don't indulge in "rap beef," but I love me some T.I. and I can't for the life of me understand why Shawty Lo would want go at him like he has. Shawty Lo continued the feud at the Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash in Phillips Arena but T.I. clearly ended it.

According to AllHipHop.com, Shawty Lo began his set with a video package detailing his escape from an inept FBI agent who curiously resembled his rival T.I. The amusing video featured the agent getting punched to the floor by his female superior for failing to capture Lo.

Shawty Lo made it a point to bring out a host of Bankhead artists to solidify his claim as “King of Bankhead,” the legendary west side neighborhood of Atlanta. The biggest statement to T.I. was Shawty Lo’s big screen photo which read “A New King is Born,” an obvious challenge to T.I.’s title of “King of the South.”

T.I. headlined the show and made numerous references to “haters” who continue running their mouths about him. T.I. returned Lo’s earlier jabs by abruptly stopping a song, shouting out “Get, Get, Get It!” and doing a mock Shawty Lo dance to “oohs” from the sold out crowd. [SEE ABOVE VIDEO] Feeling he had made his point, the “King of South” shouted out Bankhead, that he owns Atlanta, and that “This is my Birthday Bash! I own this sh*t!”

Can Def Jam "Rihanna-fy" Amerie's career? After two moderately successful albums, Amerie has struggled to keep on top of the R&B game while on Columbia Records. In need of a complete career upgrade, this maybe the move needed get her some play here in the U.S. as she's kept the interest overseas.

A source tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "She was offered a deal too good to turn down and the promise to build upon her reputation for classy and sexy R&B".

The verdict is in, R. Kelly cashed in his get out of jail card. I haven't really posted much on trail since it was such a circus. Bottom line: The jurors found him not guilty because their was no victim, however they believed it was him in the video.

Kelly’s attorney Sam Adam Jr., also praised the jury’s verdict. "Two things happened today,” Adam said. “R. Kelly got his name back and [his goddaughter ]never had to lose hers."

Read it and weep folks, or laugh, or just shake your head...
Shock jock Wendy Williams' husband plotted to kill a Hot 97 rival DJ [Miss Jones] for badmouthing his wife on the air, an explosive federal lawsuit filed charges Wednesday.

Kevin Hunter, who is married to Williams, sought out a male WBLS employee for help in finding a hitman to rub out Hot 97 personality Tarsha Jones, the lawsuit claims.

Hunter "was apparently angry over some comments that Miss Jones made about his wife on the air," the lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court claims. [SOURCE]

This right here is my real B. Diddy, my boy Ray Lavender just released the video for his second single, "Stay." I've been on this joint for a minute and it's still a great song. I've always been a fan of Tank and he's penned another great ballad.

Some may not know Ray, though he had another single, "My Girl Got A Girlfriend" that had moderate success in some regions but the song is pretty risque so it didn't catch wind around the bible belt.

I actually caught him live when he opened for J. Holiday and Keyshia Cole. Very sexy. I recently interviewed him, so be on the look out for that exclusive!

In the July issue of Vibe Magazine, Usher is still telling the story that he didn’t fire his mother, rather just put her in early retirement!
"I decided to not fire, not get rid of, but to give [my mother] the ultimate compliment — to retire her to be a full-time grandmother.

"My mother and I decided to change her situation, together," he adds. "There was a conversation. I didn't write her a letter or pink slip her."
Call it what you want, it was involuntary on her part I believe. She didn’t even go to the wedding because she didn’t agree with the decision to marry Chewbacca Tameka. Not many mothers would miss their son’s wedding unless they were just extremely displeased! That says more than any reason Usher can give for her dropping the momager title.

In other Usher confessions, he tells Cosmopolitan Magazine that he has a hard time staying faithful…
“I’m good at making love, but I’m not good at being in love. It’s a conscious decision every day to love the person you’re with.”

Newsweek caught up with Lil' Wayne as he drops his highly anticipated album, Tha Carter III and asked him about the overdramatic leak last week...
The record leaked a couple of days ago. This DJ, Chuck T, is claiming that he leaked it. This album was delayed a year because of another leak. What goes through your mind after all this, that the week before the official release there's this leak?
Nothing goes through my mind. It harms me in no way because, first of all, I am good music. Bootlegged or not, what you just heard, or what you will hear, is great. And that's the point I'm trying to get across at the end of the day and the beginning of the morning: that I'm great. Things I say have value and I would love for you to value them, however you get it. I don't really care about the leak or the DJs that's leaking it. I'm glad that people even care enough about it to make this situation a topic.

It wouldn't bother you if people decided to download it instead of going out and buying it?
This is my 15th year. This is what I do and I'm very, very straight. I don't need anything. With my fanbase, I know—whether it's downloaded, leaked or not—I know when I step on stage, I'm going to get the same reaction that I always get. That's what matters to me.
Did you pick up the album or downloaded it? I had to download it, you know, for research purposes! Check out the rest of the Q&A session here.

In case you missed it, check out his much talked about freestyle on 106 & Park after the jump...

Word on the curb is that Timbaland is set to marry his publicist fiance Monique Idlett of two years in Aruba June 19th 22nd. According to Life & Style Magazine, "Guests are being told to be prepared to fly to Aruba on that date."

Timbaland and Monique have a seven month old daughter together.

UPDATE: According to Us Weekly, the pair legally married at home in Virginia last night!

The two wed — in their sweats! — in Virginia on Tuesday by a family pastor.

They are getting hitched again in a formal ceremony in Aruba on June 22.

The couple, who are based in Miami, welcomed a baby girl, Reign, last year. (He also has a son from a previous relationship.) He popped the question at Idlett's baby shower.

CONGRATS!

If 50 Cent thought he was about to unload his burned mansion for insurance money, he can let that go, for now. The judge has ordered that the insurance money be put in a trust until pending law suits over the property between 50 and his son's mother Shaniqua are finalized.

Shaniqua's lawyer requested to order so that she can access to all of his assets, should she win her $50 million lawsuit filed earlier this year. [insert side eye here]

The judge actually ordered her to pay 50 Cent $4,500 in rent for May by Friday. 50 pays Shaniqua $6,700 a month in child support, $4,500 of that as a housing allowance. LOL, that's funny!

How does the saying go: Two tears in a bucket…Well you know the rest! Karrine and the “Eddie Winslow tried to kill me” side show rolls on. This time she went to HipHollywood.com for a camera shoulder to cry on.

However, Darius tells a different story…

“Darius says he didn’t hit her with his car — she ‘jumped on the trunk of my car and then the roof of my car. She started beating my vehicle and windows.’ It says she then attempted to get into the car by breaking the windows ‘with her fist.’ In another incident, Darius claims Karrine ’slapped me so hard that she hit a bystander.’”

The really sad part? There is a child in the middle of this. His momma is the official hoe of the millennium, stays in a dysfunctional relationship and does anything to stay in the media.

...he makes a very valid point. Who gives a flying fig tree if he changed his nickname? Here's the better question...ARE YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE?

I know people are changing their Facebook and MySpace status to "Barack Obama 'o8" or some variation of that and aren't even registered to vote. This is only half the battle! We still have to get him to the White House in November, so if you aren't registered, you can't help him!

Janet Jackson airs her dirty laundry about what some consider a flop of her last album Discipline, which had only sold 392K in the US since it's February release. Hmmm...that pretty flop-ish, if you ask me.

So don't expect a third single anytime soon, Janet she tells SOHH.com. She goes on to say that Island Def Jam discontinued promoting the album after her single, "Rock With U," failed to chart. Additional friction apparently resulted from Island also releasing "LUV" as a single, despite Jackson's wish that "LUV" be worked on its own.

In a statement to Billboard, an Island Def Jam spokesperson says, "Unfortunately we haven't experienced the results we would have liked with this new album. But we respect and support Janet."

Janet is excited about her Live Nation "Rock Wit U" tour which jumps of Sept. 7th. I would be to, that's where the money is and despite low sales, I think she still has it as a performer and her fan base has always supported her shows. It's been a minute since she's been on tour, so I think she's ready to be back on the stage.
