As previously reported, Snoop ran into trouble in late September at the John Wayne airport for weapons possession [a collapsible baton was found in his carry on luggage]...Today he was booked on weapon charges in the Orange County Jail and if convicted faces 3 years in prison. He is expected to post the $150,000 bond this afternoon and will be released.

In a statement through his spokesperson, Meredith O'Sullivan, Snoop says he "welcomes an expedited trial which will reveal that these charges are completely unwarranted."

I think it is time for snoop to get a private jet, as airports just seem to bring trouble. Last month, he was arrested at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank for investigation of illegal drug and gun possession. He posted $35,000 bail and was ordered to appear in court Dec. 12.
