Fantasia returned to American Idol for a special performance of the song "I am Here" as she has officially joined the Broadway cast of The Color Purple...she will take on the role of Celie originated by the Tony award winning, LaChanze. She will begin on April 10, 2007!
She also has an interview and performance scheduled to air on The Oprah Winfrey Show Wednesday, February 28, 2007!
