VH1 Soul breathes new life into VIBE magazine's celebration of urban music, lifestyle and culture with VH1 Soul Presents: VIBE Awards Special. Hosted by Eve and airing exclusively on VH1 Soul Wednesday, November 14 at 10PM, this one-hour special will highlight music artists and trend-setters who have inspired us through their contributions to urban culture.

Beyonce and T.I. lead the nominees for the first ever VH1 Soul Presents: VIBE Awards Special, with four nods each. Beyonce is up for the categories of Song of the Year for Irreplaceable; Video of the Year for Get Me Bodied; VStyle and R+B Artist of the Year, where she will battle it out with Ne-Yo, R. Kelly and T-Pain. T.I. faces stiff competition from Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z and Sean 'Diddy' Combs for the Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, while he is also nominated for Best Collaboration on DJ Khaled's We Takin' Over, and is recognised for his fashion sense (VStyle), and acting ventures (VHollywood).
