Patti LaBelle was the honoree at "An Evening Of Stars With A Tribute To Patti LaBelle" held at the Kodak Theatre in L.A. Saturday night. Her LaBelle bandmates, Nona Hendryx and Sara Dash were there as they are getting ready to release a reunion album October 21st. Former co-stars Duane Martin and Vivica Fox came to celebrate, as well as newly-engaged Jennifer Hudson, Chrisette Michelle, LisaRaye, Raven-Symone, Fantasia and more... Look for the show to air in January 2009!

In other LaBelle news, who announced their reunion at the Essence Music Festival, finally have new music. A Wyclef-produced track called "Roll Out" which has Patti on the synthesizer too. But it's Patti Patti, so I'll let it pass.

Ki-Ki hosted a surprise "50 & Fabulous" Party for the Hip Hop Mogul that was the place to be with the guest list including Patti LaBelle, Djimon Hinsu, Alicia Keys, and Gabrielle Union [of course, you know Gabby doesn't miss a beat on the party scene]... LL Cool J and Musiq Soulchild were on hand to perform.
