I have group of up and coming artists out there for you!

First up. Brick & Lace...

Brick & Lace Jamaican born sisters, raised predominantly in Kingston, Jamaica, on an opulent musical diet of reggae, R&B, hip hop, pop and country, 26-year-old Nyanda and 24-year-old Nailah Thorbourne couldn't help but be trans-eclectic. "We are a hybrid," affirms Nailah in her effortlessly sexy West-Indian lilt. "It's not fabricated at all; it's who we are."

To the ladies of Brick & Lace, their name represents the duality and complexity of the everywoman. "Sometimes you want to wear a cap and sneakers and look grimy," Nyanda tells. "And sometimes you want to wear your sexy dress and heels and look cute." Nailah puts it all in perspective: "People always ask: ‘Who is Brick & Lace?' And we always tell them it depends on the day!"

Next up, a cat from my state of Louisiana that goes by Hurricane Chris is reppin' for the Shreveport area with his hit "A Bay Bay"...

The eighteen year old Shreveport native is currently causing quite a commotion down South with his blazing hot Polo Grounds Music/J Records single, “A Bay Bay.” According to Hurricane Chris, “A Bay Bay” has its genesis in the namesake of the Ratchet movement’s cornerstone DJ, Hollyhood Bay Bay, who spins at a club called KoKo Pellis. Whenever the DJ would come in the club the crowd would start chanting “hey Bay Bay, hey Bay Bay.” After a while the crowd would do the chant whenever the club got ratchet regardless of who was on the wheels of steel.

Lastly, meet Sean Kingston

Kingston, a 17 year old native of Jamaica who now lives in Miami brings his very unique triple threat of talent of rapping, reggae chatting and soulful harmonization with the 2007 release of his debut yet to be titled album.

"As an artist, my whole goal is to make powerful and classic music," Sean divulges. "I want everyone to feel me and understand where I'm from and that's what this album will do. The music is all about an authentic Sean Kingston vibe. JR is a talented dude and a dope producer and he saw that I had something different than any other artist out there. Together we're a powerful force.
