New fresh music is always appreciated and hot sounds are more than welcomed. I urge you to get to know this new group
The D.E.Y., think The Fugees with a Latin twist. Composed of lyricists Emilio “Yeyo” Cancio-Bello and Rafael “Divine” Torres along with Nuyorican songstress Élan Luz Rivera, the bilingual Latino trio fuses hip-hop, R&B, pop, and Afro-Latino influences for a unique, singing/rapping fusion-heavy sound that celebrates Latinos’ rich cultural heritage.
You know I rep for the Boriquas! You don't have to speak Spanish or be Latin to enjoy their sound and feel the beat. The DEY is poised to revolutionize the Latin, pop, and urban markets with its eclectic debut, which features production by Timbaland, JR Rotem, Stargate, and more.
The first single “Give You The World” was produced by J.R. Rotem [Sean Kingston, Britney Spears] and has premiered on MiTRL and TRL. Sean Kingston and The DEY shot the video this past weekend for their second single, "There's Nothin'." Make sure to look out for their debut in on Epic Records this April!
