Essence Magazine held its
First Annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The luncheon celebrated the ongoing legacy of
Ms. Ruby Dee, who launched and sustained a phenomenal career when there were not a variety of well developed or diverse roles for African Americans. Also honored were
Jada Pinkett Smith, Jurnee Smollett, and
Suzanne de Passe.
Paula Patton was there and
I don't see a bump anymore?! Hmmm...
