Amy Winehouse and her jazzy background dancers!

The 50th Annual Grammy Awards was more about the performances and emotional moments than the actual awards this year. As suspected a renewed Amy Winehouse was the big winner of the night, taking home top honors in 5 categories, record of the year, best new artist, song of the year, pop vocal album and female pop vocal performance, the most of the night. Kanye West followed with 4 awards, taking home best rap album for “Graduation,” best solo performance for “Stronger,” best rap song for “Good Life” and best rap performance by a duo or group for his collaboration with Common on “Southside.” SEE THE FULL LIST OF WINNERS

While Kanye was accepting the best rap album trophy, the orchestra tried to play him off the stage as he began speaking about his mother.

“It would be in good taste to stop the music,” West said — and the music stopped.

“I know you’re really proud of me right now and I know you want me to be the No. 1 artist in the world and Mama,” West continued, “all I’m going to do is keep making you proud. We run this.”

The crowning moment came when they captured Amy Winehouse's emotional reaction to winning record of the year, where she was immediately embraced by her band, then her mother and father.

If you missed any of the performances, I got you covered, check out video of Amy's reaction, Rihanna, and The Time, Beyonce and Tina Turner, Kanye West and more after the jump!

Amy Winehouse Accepts Grammy

Beyonce and Tina Turner, Part 1

I absolutely loved her intro, that was hot! As you can see she debuted a new shaggy haircut, undoubtedly for the occasion. Tina Turner is jaw dropping great on stage, she still has it after all these years and still has those legs to match! No outshining her this night.

Beyonce and Tina Turner, Part 2

Kanye West with Daft Punk - Stronger

Can we say intense!? Kanye West never disappoints with his performances, he put 200% into this performance. The "flashing lights" and Daft Punk cameo made his performance one of the hottest of the night!

Kanye West - Hey Mama

Don't say I didn't warn you. His performance of Hey Mama, was almost too hard to watch. I am sure those that have lost a parent felt the emotion just as strongly. I had my tissue handy, I knew it would be a pretty emotionally charged moment.

Rihanna ft. The Time - Umbrella/Please Don't Stop the Music

Nothing bad to say, Rihanna seems to be really working on her live performances. The Time are classics so it only made her set that much more hot!

Alicia Keys - No One

Miss Keys does her thing everytime she hits the stage, working those tights! That song will alway be in a key that is unflattering for her voice, but she more about the music and performance...

Alicia Keys - Opening with Frank Sinatra

Fergie ft. John Legend - Finally

Aretha Franklin, BeBe Winans, Clark Sisters, Trinitee 5:7, Isreal & The New Breed - Gospel Medley

Carrie Underwood - Before He Cheats

This song never gets old...Love me some Carrie!
