Amerie Makes Move to Def Jam

Can Def Jam "Rihanna-fy" Amerie's career? After two moderately successful albums, Amerie has struggled to keep on top of the R&B game while on Columbia Records. In need of a complete career upgrade, this maybe the move needed get her some play here in the U.S. as she's kept the interest overseas.

A source tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "She was offered a deal too good to turn down and the promise to build upon her reputation for classy and sexy R&B".
