Who knew the guitar strumming bad boy in Best Man really wanted to be a singer?! Terrence Howard actually started in music, but once he was cast as Jackie in the TV movie The Jacksons: An American Dream, he stuck with acting but now he's finally getting a chance to pursue his music...

His debut album, Shine Through It, will be in stores Sept. 2nd. and he describes it as a blend of soul, pop, and rock. I feel like his raspy voice is sort of reminiscent of Seal. He sings like he talks, so it's hard to not see him as an actor.

Interesting, none-the-less.
