Rihanna - "Vogue"

Rihanna covers Madonna's "Vogue," Beyonce dazzles with "At Last," Justin tackles Marvin Gaye, and much more fashion and music collided on the 5th Annual Fashion Rocks' stage!

Beyonce - "At Last"

Chris Brown, Solange, Mariah Carey, Timbaland, Kid Rock and Mary J. Blige were also part of music special! See all the videos under the cut...Make sure to leave a comment on what you loved, liked, and hated.

Loved "At Last" but would we expect anything less? I was so impressed with Justin' cover of Marvin Gaye's "Get Up On It." Rihanna lip synced so I can critique too much, but I always say get on that treadmill and sing. Solange was borderline for me, it was pitchy in spots but girl has some confidence.

Chris Brown - "Forever"

Mariah Carey - "I'm that Chick"

Solange - "I Decided"

Timbaland with One Republic, Chris Connell, & PCD

Justin Timberlake - "Get Up On It" & with Beyonce - "Ain't Nothin' Like the Real Thing"
I'll add more as they become available...

The 5th annual Fashion Rocks 2008 taped last night at the Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Artists like Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, and the Pussycat Dolls all took to the stage mixing high fashion with musical tributes!

Back in '06 Beyonce took on Josephine Baker as she preformed "Deja Vu". This year Beyonce, as Etta James, sang the wedding song fave "At Last" and hooked up with Justin Timberlake, for a live duet! Remember she is starring as Etta James in the upcoming film Cadillac Records.

How the hell can you talk about anybody, J.D. the Hip Hop Leprechaun? Apparently J.D. is still salty about the Nipple-Gate hullabaloo [let it go people!] and put a little grease in his book,"Young, Rich and Dangerous," about Justin Timberlake.
"I think Justin Timberlake is a talented performer. But he's very ordinary-looking. He could be any skinny white kid from the suburbs of Orlando. You could go to the mall and find another Justin. He doesn't make his style interesting even when he's onstage. To me, he just doesn't look like a star." [SOURCE]
J.T. isn't fall-out-on-the-floor let-the-tears-flow gorgeous, but he's definitely not 'ordinary' looking either...IMO!

Ashanti was on hand to announce the nominees for the upcoming AMAs:

Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Linkin Park and Daughtry lead the nominees for the 35th annual American Music Awards, which for the first time will allow members of the public to pick the winners. The four leading acts each garnered three nominations. Timberlake, Linkin Park and Daughtry will vie for favorite pop/rock album, while Timberlake and Beyonce were cited for favorite soul/R&B album.

Winners will be announced during a Nov. 18 ABC broadcast at the brand new Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. The event traditionally had been held at the nearby Shrine Auditorium. Also new is the voting procedure. Fans can vote online at ama.abc.com through Nov. 1. Until now, winners were decided by a poll of 20,000 music buyers. Nominees are still determined by retail and sales data.
