Kanye West and Amy Winehouse are head of the class in Grammy nominations, leading the pack with 8 and 6, respectively. Foo Fighters, Ne-Yo, Jay-Z, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and T-Pain were the other top earners – each with five nominations. Nine artists earned four nominations each: Akon, Dierks Bentley, Chris Daughtry, Feist, Tim McGraw, John Newton, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen.

Also in the race for record of the year: Beyoncé ("Irreplaceable"), Foo Fighters ("The Pretender"), Rihanna ("Umbrella") and Timberlake ("What Goes Around Comes Around").

CBS will broadcast the 50th Grammy Awards live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 10.
