Tyra Banks loves a transgender model, have you seen her talk show? So she has finally convinced her other producers to have a transgender contestant on her other show, America's Next Top Model. Cycle 11 features Isis, an aspiring model is from Prince George's County, Maryland who describes herself as "a woman born physically male."

"My cards were dealt differently," says the 22 year old program assistant who was actually an "extra" at the "Homeless" photoshoot from last season. Fooled me!

Should be interesting to see how the other contestants react! You can catch the premiere Sept. 3rd on the CW.

Ummmm...so if you skipped this season of America's Next Top Model or the finale, Whitney won. Making her the first full figured model to win the title. Whoop-Tee-Doo! The competition wasn't stiff this season. It was so much about the in-house drama and less about the actual modeling.

She's a classic beauty but just doesn't scream top model to me. I thought it was the politically correct thing to do for the show. My bet was on Katarzyna, she was just fierce by nature, but Dominique was pure entertainment.

Many have come and gone from America's Next Top Model, but could there be more conflicts on the CW breadwinner? Of all people, word on the curb at OK Magazine is that Tyra and Jay Manuel are far from BFFs now.
“It’s gotten so bad that Tyra and Jay aren’t speaking,” an insider told OK! magazine. The selective silent treatment isn’t limited to Manuel, either. “Tyra barely interacts with the contestants and only wants to show up on judging day,” the source told the magazine.

Net result? Banks (who wouldn’t comment on the rumors) might be looking for a new supermodel to helm ANTM. “She’s really throwing all her weight behind her talk show,” according to a source familiar with “The Tyra Banks Show.” “She’s putting lots of pressure on her staff to keep her show on the map. She had Barack Obama on, she had Hilary Clinton on — she got a taste of playing with the big boys and now ‘Top Model’ seems to detract from her big plans.” [via MSNBC]
ANTM is nonexistent without Tyra...There is no way you can replace jewels like this!

If you missed this week's ANTM or heard about the dramatic ending here's the clip...

My input: Tyra totally backtracked, I think production banked on Ebony quiting for the dramatics. Damn that Tyra and Ken Mok!

See Ambreal's final shot and Ebony's.

Here's the first look at that model hopefuls for the upcoming cycle of America's Next Top Model. Initially there seems to be a good mix of girl, though I still don't see a strong level of diversity, though there are 4 African American girls this season, but the past has proved that it won't last long. I was hoping to see more Asian Americans or Indian Americans.

The new season premieres on September 19th on The CW.
