Something Tyra Banks really knows about [and tells us everyday] is modeling and she took time on her talk show to celebrate the unprecedented First All Black Model Issue of Vogue Italia. Some of the top models of the past and present were on hand to join in the celebration, including Beverly Johnson, Selita Ebanks, Chanel Iman, Veronica Webb, Toccara Jones, and Noemie Lenoir.

Many have come and gone from America's Next Top Model, but could there be more conflicts on the CW breadwinner? Of all people, word on the curb at OK Magazine is that Tyra and Jay Manuel are far from BFFs now.
“It’s gotten so bad that Tyra and Jay aren’t speaking,” an insider told OK! magazine. The selective silent treatment isn’t limited to Manuel, either. “Tyra barely interacts with the contestants and only wants to show up on judging day,” the source told the magazine.

Net result? Banks (who wouldn’t comment on the rumors) might be looking for a new supermodel to helm ANTM. “She’s really throwing all her weight behind her talk show,” according to a source familiar with “The Tyra Banks Show.” “She’s putting lots of pressure on her staff to keep her show on the map. She had Barack Obama on, she had Hilary Clinton on — she got a taste of playing with the big boys and now ‘Top Model’ seems to detract from her big plans.” [via MSNBC]
ANTM is nonexistent without Tyra...There is no way you can replace jewels like this!

Tyra Banks covers this week's Entertainment Weekly were they highlight her move from model to media mogul. Is it just me, or do you now critique all of Tyra's photos like a judge on ANTM would? Hmmm well, check out some excerpts of the interview after the jump...

Tyra on Oparh:
”Oprah Winfrey is a mogul. Martha Stewart is a mogul. I’m probably a mogul in the making. I’m almost there.”

Tyra on her childhood in Inglewood:
”I used to want to write commercials as a kid,” ”I used to tell my mom, ‘Mom, they didn’t end the commercial right. They should have ended it on the burger, ’cause they’re trying to sell the burger, and they ended on the lady’s face and I don’t even remember if it’s McDonald’s or Wendy’s anymore.”’

Tyra on her mother’s words of wisdoms:
”Even as a model I used to think ‘brand,””’My mom always told me, ‘Plan for the end at the beginning. You’re gonna have to retire really early like an athlete, and then what are you gonna do after?”’ ”So I always looked at it knowing that there was something after.”

Mary J. Blige hit up The Tyra Banks Show and let the good times roll. She answered all those crazy questions Tyra throws to her celebrity guests, including what she scared of, what she waxes and if she's a member of the mile high club.

Mary was pretty open and funny, which is great to see. Angry Mary made great hits, but Happy Mary is fun to watch!

Tyra worked her lace front well, this color is so much better than the drab blonde she's been sporting. The dress is nice, but I'm not too convinced it fits her on top that well.

Aunt Viv popped in this blue number, though the hair is a bit stiff.

Keyshia Cole looked darling in her silver, I think she is just a beautiful girl. The tats are distracting but it makes her who she is.

Kerri Washington stuns as usual on the red carpet, she definitely knows how to pick the right gown. The dress is just fantabulous! Can she let me borrow it for the Zulu Ball? LOL...
