My My My...Tracey just had to fire back at Johnny Gill after he basically blamed the split on her disdain for Eddie's mama. So she called Doug Banks and said she was under "gag order" [that damn Eddie Murphy confidentiality agreement] and left the below statement:
"I was very shocked and disappointed to hear of Johnny Gill's false spin on the chain of events surrounding our wedding. His outrageous lies were clearly a very desperate and pathetic attempt to clean up his reputation at my expense. I would appreciate it if Mr. Gill would refrain from continuing to spread false gossip and lies to the public, and allow everyone involved to move on with their lives. We all know the real truth." Why is she incessant on referring to it as a wedding? We all know, you all were playing dress up. Who do you think you are foolin'?

Johnny Gill decided it was time to defend his sexuality and give up the dirt on the fiasco that was Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmond's "spiritual ceremony."

On the Doug Banks radio show, Johnny called in and gave the details...He says he is not the reason the pair fell apart, but that it was Tracey's disdain for mother Murphy. On top of that, there is no way he's gay because he has a "stable" [his words, not mine].

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds' faux wedding and illegal marriage lasted a whole 2 weeks! Seeing that the ish wasn't even legally recognized, it further justifies my conspiracy theory that it was all a business arrangement and publicity stunt. A very expensive Bora Bora publicity stunt.

I know Babyface and Johnny Gill are somewhere giggling!
"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further," Murphy and Edmonds tell PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.”
I wonder how much Essence paid for the pictures of their wedding?

Maybe Tracey couldn't handle Eddie tyrannical nature!? According to Janet Charlton Eddie had some seriously controlling ways:
When Eddie was married to his wife Nicole, he was LORD AND MASTER around the house. According to an employee who worked in his house, persnickety Eddie has strict rules. He expected his beautiful wife Nicole to appear at the breakfast table every day with her makeup and hair DONE, and looking very together. But she was for his eyes only. He instructed every guy who worked at the house - gardeners, repairmen, pool men etc, NOT to look directly at her! Anyone caught staring at Nicole was instantly fired.

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds will have to take to the states to legalize their marriage since the seaside ceremony in Bora Bora was not a valid marriage. As a part of the French Polynesia, Bora Bora is under French law which only recognizes marriages of those that have been there at least 30 days or if performed at a town hall by a mayor.

The business partners lovebirds plan to properly marry once they return to the states, so say their reps.

Just as reports suspected, Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds tied the knot over the holidays, their rep tells People.

The pair were married on New Year's Day on a private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia in front of 25 friends and family.

In a sunset ceremony on the beach Tuesday, Edmonds walked barefoot down the aisle to Gladys Knight's "Makings of You." The bride wore a custom-designed form-fitting dress by stylist and designer Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, designer and owner of Baracci boutique. Murphy wore a cream suit and vest with an off-white handkerchief.

In attendance were Tracey's parents, Eddie's mother and brother Vernon, and best man Johnny Gill.

They sure seemed to go from divorcees to dating to married with some baby mama drama in between rather quickly. Do you think the marriage will last?

Word is Eddie Murphy has popped the question to girlfriend Tracey Edmonds... With his pending paternity suit I am wondering what brought this on?
According to OK! magazine, the 46-year-old 'Dreamgirls' and 'Shrek the Third' star proposed on July 25 with a "massive," roughly 8-carat Cartier yellow diamond engagement ring.

A friend of the couple says, "They're very adorable together, very happy," adding that they plan to tie the knot before the end of the year with a private wedding: "something low-key and romantic."

Tracey Edmonds says she is still dating Eddie Murphy despite the rumors after the paternity test proved that he was indeed Mel B's B. Diddy!
"I did hear about the false rumor. That is absolutely not true," Edmonds, a film producer who started dating Murphy last fall, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

However, Edmonds, whose divorce from singer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds was finalized in June, said that “the paternity test had no impact on our relationship.”

In fact, Edmonds said she and Murphy are going on an Italian vacation for the Fourth of July holiday.
