Well that's not a surprise! Pretty much what we all figured anyway. Remember her crackwhore-esque spread in Complex Magazine? Well, that may just be what put the nail in the coffin...

"We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13, 14-year-old young girls," Dawn Richard tell UsMagazine. "So we can't do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover.... [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can't do that if we can continue to go in the direction that we were going."

Dawn also reiterated that D. Woods was just caught in the crossfire [pun intended], but that the group will continue on, at the least as a trio but maybe even with a new member.

"Well Puff told me specifically that Aubrey is no longer in Danity Kane and Danity Kane will move forward without her. He has not said anything [about auditioning new members] but I think in my heart that he is gonna do another show."

The group, the name Danity Kane, is locked into Bad Boy for 7, yes s-e-v-e-n, albums. He could release them from the contract [like firing the girls] but I am sure we can look out for Making the Band 3 season 17 "Search for the new Member" on MTV...

Both Dawn and Aubrey [looking her usual fugly mess] were both out in NYC and spotted at the Hennessy Artistry Finale Event keeping their distance...

After watching the finale of Making the Band, I am in no way shocked or surprised. I wasn't expecting D. Woods to end up out of the group, but I'm not surprised. I actually think she really got caught in the crossfire and got the boot for being guilty by association. I didn't know that their was so much tension between former BFFs Aundrea and Aubrey, though.

Here's the deal, when the Danity Kane's debut album came out, I was expecting a second album. I said it back in 2007 when the rumors around Aundrea started swirling. As much as I love them as a group, I wasn't confident in their success as a reality TV product on Bad Boy. I have my issues with Bad Boy and Almighty Puff Power because we all see how the other artists were eff'd over by that situation.

I have to agree with Diddy on the fact that Aubrey became a distraction. Making it how you live is all cool and ish, but she really changed - for the less attractive. The cliques and distrust was bound to hurt the group. So, what next?

In the interest of MTV, I can see them trying another round of MTB and following the remaining girls. As for Diddy, he's still a business man and he wants to put out music. I can see him entertaining the thought of bring the girls together again. He left that door open. Danity Kane as a three member group? I don't know, 2 of the 3 best vocalists are still there, but D. Woods voice can't be duplicated. Aubrey wasn't the best singer in the crew, so that doesn't hurt the group and they all can dance so that doesn't hurt either. It is possible to market these girls though. Almighty Puff Power could try to make them the next Destiny Child... I feel bad because it seems like the ones remaining really feel like they didn't have anything to "go back to." Aubrey as a solo artist = FAIL! D. Woods has potential but the clock is ticking.

Or how about this is really just the end of them as a group!? My bet is on this.

What do you think? Take a look at Aubrey's response after the jump...

..she didn't really say much, did she?

...please do not Aubrey. Obama needs all the support possible, but no ma'am you and Lindsey Lohan can just make sure vote on November 4th and we'll call it even. M'kay... Thanks! This is the type of poppycock that gets your ass fired.

I am in no way trying to hate on Aubrey, but her Complex Magazine spread is looking a bit crack-whore-ish... Maybe it's the nasty ish that comes out her mouth?!

Here are some sound bites from her recent interview with Complex:
When people see you in the tabloids and blogs, they tend to think—
Aubrey O’Day: —that I’m a ho, a dumb blonde girl.

How many Danity Kane albums are you locked in for?
Aubrey O’Day: Seven, not including holiday and live albums.

So when people hear you’re best friends with Jenna Jameson, they think—
Aubrey O’Day: —I’m going to do sex tapes and porn. Jenna and I never even talk about porn. I think one time Jenna and I had a conversation about having sex on your period.

Oh, running a red light?
Aubrey O’Day: Yeah. There was some new guy I was dating, and it was the first time we were going to go there, and he was weird about it. So I ask Jenna for advice and she’s like, “Honey, it’s just a little war paint, who cares?”

Still, the first time...
Aubrey O’Day: Yeah, that’s what I was saying.

I guess you could just throw a towel down.
Aubrey O’Day: Ha! Yeah, I’m totally a towel girl. [Laughs.]

You seem to like to talk about sex.
Aubrey O’Day: I love porn.

You love watching it?
Aubrey O’Day: Totally. I watch YouPorn.
Nasty ass...TMI! Way more info than I really wanted to know. If you want to learn more about Aubrey, Jenna Jameson, and their periods, visit Complex.com.

Danity Kane is jumping in the apparel game, fronting a new demin line by Dollhouse Jeans. The girls were on hand for a private at showing at the Dollhouse showroom in NYC. The new collection will feature the DK logo and are said to fit many shapes... The jeans will be available in Macy’s and online via the Dollhouse Website in October.

The ladies were all smiles but based on Dawn's recent interview with John Jay & Rich that spotted @ Necole Bitchie, maybe all the attention Aubrey AKA Auberella is getting lately is starting to get under the others' skin?!

LISTEN HERE
to the interview and see if you hear the same frustration I hear. Or is it jealousy?

She's no Beyonce, more like a Nicole Scherzinger, and she always seems to have one foot out the door. I can't be too mad because working for Diddy is more like volunteering your services so you have to grind to make it outside Bad Boy. Either neither, she dropped by The Wendy Williams Show to talk Danity Kane, Diddy, and Broadway. There was more weave and makeup on that stage than I can stand.

Interestingly she says D. Woods is her best friend in the group, which just made me think because I just finished watching the MTB Best of Clip Show and they showed the tearful lovefest that went down between her and Aundrea the night before they made the band...Hmmm.

We welcomed five girls into our home on MTV's Making the Band, and with a ready made fanbase the group shot to number one and became a household name. However the road to a sophomore album wasn't as easy for Danity Kane. Rumors of breakups, breakdown in management and poor promotion, left the group vulnerable to being yet another casualty of reality television.

Lucky for these girls they have talent that surpasses the average pre-packaged record label product. So when I had the opportunity to chit chat to the home team chick Dawn Richard, I made sure to get the dish on everything from how she went from New Orleans HoneyBee to international pop star to how she really felt about working with Diddy. Dawn also gives you insight on their newest release Welcome to the Dollhouse which is available today. Plus, what's up with her and Que? What other reality show did she try out for? Do bloggers get under her skin?

The Leak: Welcome to the Dollhouse

The sophomore effort of Danity Kane is a collection of futuristic sounds that lends itself to 70s and 80s grooves. A healthy set of songs, laced with a few artistic interludes, Welcome to the Dollhouse reintroduces a set of talented vocalists. From R&B to Pop, it is a well rounded collection that touches on fun and flirty, hot and steamy, and get up and dance tracks.

Back in the lab with producers Brian Michael Cox and Mario Winans from their debut release, they also worked with new hitmakers such as Stereotypes [“Damaged”], The Clutch [Mary J. Blige, Ciara] and Scyience [Jay Z, Beyonce]. The ladies were able to stretch their writing skills [and collect on those publishing rights] with tracks like “Strip Tease” and “Lights Out” and “Picture This.”

The ladies vocal acrobatics are fierce and blend so well on the album, while being able to maintain their individual sound. You’ll hear more from Shannon as well as Aubrey, and as always Dawn, D. Woods and Andrea stand out as homerun hitters. You can definitely hear a softer side of D. Woods. The move toward “International Pop” is very evident in choice of melodies and beats, there’s an infusion of dance, techno, and funk through out the album, especially in “Bad Girl” which features Missy Elliot and “Pretty Boy.” The group-penned “Strip Tease” is pop-friendly track that is dripping in sex. You won’t miss on their ability to produce a beautiful ballad with the beautifully dramatic “Is Anybody Listening.” The complex layering of voices is beyond the average girl group.

As with their debut, Danity Kane, you get a complete album and fans won’t be disappointed. This time around, I won’t be surprised when they go platinum.

...as the new face of his Famous Stars and Straps clothing line. She worked it out in a hot and steamy photoshoot for the line where she looked like she channeled Christina Aguilera circa 2003 with her "Dirrty" look.

Kanye's fiancee Alexis, Kim Kardashian, and Danity Kane's Aubrey were partying it up at the L.A. Direct party...all looking a bit greasy! Kanye, come get ya girl...quick! Last night on Chelsea Lately Kim came through and declined to comment on Reggie, but did say he was a sweet person. She also said she doesn't drink alcohol...and I must admit I don't think I've seen her looking a mess a la Britney or Lindsey! Now if she can just keep her va-jay-jay off the internet!
