Despite rumors of Danity Kane's D. Wood jumping ship for a solo career my source says that nothing is official as news of her leaving and the new group was brand new to Danity Kane:

Officially she (D. Woods) has not declared to Danity Kane that she has left. Either way expect great things from Danity Kane this fall.

There is also talks of another season of MTB3, possibly while they record this new album...So I guess we'll have to see, but from the looks of it even if she does kick rocks, it's not the end!! However this maybe the force behind the rumors, as you can check D. Woods on YouTube with another group called "The Girls Club" who describe themselves as the "female replica" of Wu Tang Clan...
