In a power move in the ongoing baby-mama-drama between 50 Cent and Shaniqua Tompkins, 50 Cent says he owns the right to her life story. Yes, you read that correct, the legal rights to her life story. Who knew that ish was even possible?!

He says, "I bought the rights to her life story so she couldn't write a book.

"I seen her being ridiculous; I knew her capabilities of going in that direction, so I bought the rights." [SOURCE]

No tell-all book for her! In other words, no money for her... I find that to be just hilarious and ingenious.

During a recent interview with MTV 50 Cent was grilled on the latest drama involving his son’s mother Shaniqua, who has blames 50 for the burning of his Connecticut home.

50 shied away from saying too much about the situation but when pushed he says this is the toughest thing he had to deal with…

"My relationship with my son is changing because me and his mom aren't friends anymore," he added, giving a more in-depth explanation. "There's different channels I have to go through. He has lawyers appointed to him through the court. So I have to talk to his lawyer to get things situated for me to for me to actually get him. The relationship between my wallet and his mom has changed. When people have expensive habits, it's a hell of a transition for them when that money is not there anymore. She said all kind of things about me I never would expect."

50 surmised that the discord between him and Tompkins has put their child in a difficult situation.

"I think he doesn't want his mom to feel like he's a traitor," the rapper said. " ... The time I spent away is the time he developed this thing he's afraid to break with her. There's nothing you can do about that. This is the toughest [thing I've had to face], because he's my motivation."

If 50 Cent thought he was about to unload his burned mansion for insurance money, he can let that go, for now. The judge has ordered that the insurance money be put in a trust until pending law suits over the property between 50 and his son's mother Shaniqua are finalized.

Shaniqua's lawyer requested to order so that she can access to all of his assets, should she win her $50 million lawsuit filed earlier this year. [insert side eye here]

The judge actually ordered her to pay 50 Cent $4,500 in rent for May by Friday. 50 pays Shaniqua $6,700 a month in child support, $4,500 of that as a housing allowance. LOL, that's funny!

The multi-million dollar house that has been the center of the drama between 50 Cent and his baby mama, Shaniqua has ‘suspiciously’ gone up in flames [insert side eye here]! SUSPECT! Though, police have not said that Fif is a suspect, the circumstances around the house fire is very much questionable.

This is the same Dix Hills home that 50 took her to court for in which the judge sided with 50.

Arson squad investigators were on the scene of the Friday blaze.

Fif is nuts, by any standards, would he burn down his own house? Maybe, but I can’t co-sign on him putting his son in danger… While on set in Shreveport filming a movie he released the following statement:
"Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property. He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely. He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings."
Shaniqua, however calls out 50 as the culprit:

Last week a video of 106 & Park's Rocsi hit the blogosphere where she called 50 Cent's album "garbage." It was during the heat of the album wars with Kanye West, and as true as the statement may have been, 50 was none too pleased her her assessment.

50 Cent fired back on 93.3 WKYS...calling her a HOE and blasts her for being ran through. Damn, is it that serious Fif? Listen to the audio:

...and they can be just as rowdy! 50 Cent got his chain snatched at concert in Angola, Africa this weekend while performing.

I don't know what's funnier, 50 getting jacked by dude [minute 1:40] who took off running like a crackhead or the dude filming laughing like Eddie Murphy in Coming to America?

Apparently most Hot 97 listeners agree with me in that 50 Cent's ex Shaniqua Tompkins needs to let it go...Miss Jones thought different, based on how she was portrayed in his autobiographical movie Get Rich or Die Trying even though Shaniqua has her new man living in the house. So 50 Cent decided to just call in himself and give his side of the story. I actually found it pretty funny.

Besides this drama, he talks about some rap beef [you know I don't know much about all that] and his upcoming role as a cop in Post-Katrina New Orleans.

I love how this is edited like those foreign hidden camera shows, with the sound effects and everything!

50 Cent faced his ex Shaniqua Tompkins at the court today and things just didn't go her way. Granted, I would want my child to enjoy the riches of his father, but 50 has been known to take good care of his son and not just monetarily. So, I can't see how her argument is that Curtis is evicting his son... no boo, he's evicting you! I'd put 2 chicklets on it, that if push came to shove, he'd file for sole custody of his son.

One court already cut her child support in pieces, therefore she might want to work it out for herself. I don't count on no man to take care of me or my child. For $6700 a month, I could do some things!! There are way too many mothers making it on half of that, so she surely can. I just can't see justifying that she has rights to a home that she doesn't own.

He gave her a place, but he says it was only temporary...According to Radar Online, he has asked a judge to evict her from the million dollar Long Island residence that he owns. Being the smart business man that he is, he filed for a formal child support order to curb the growing requests from his ex, Shaniqua Tompkins that reached upwards of $50,000. The order slashed the verbal offer from Curtis of $25,000 per month to $6700, with the stipulation that part of the monthly support be used to find a new residence.

There are legal holes all through this mess, because there is no lease agreement in place which means she's not a tenant, she also claims that the house was promised to her, plus she just filed a counter-suit.

Baby Mama drama is not cute!

The legendary Robert DeNiro and 50 Cent, who will co-star in the upcoming film Righteous Kill with Al Pacino cover the March "Hollywood Issue" issue of Vibe Magazine. Shot in January by celebrity photographer Jake Chessum at New York City's famed Milk Studios, the magazine's exclusive photos are styled by veteran Vibe Fashion Director Memsor Kamarake. De Niro is in Giorgio Armani and 50 Cent in head-to-toe Tom Ford.

The issue features a double cover [see the other cover and quotes after the jump] and features a rare interview with DeNiro who speaks highly of 50...
"Curtis, he's ... he's got good instincts," Mr. De Niro tells VIBE when asked what advice he would give to the superstar about acting. 50 Cent goes on to talk about his admiration for De Niro's work. "I grew up watching his movies ... One of my favorites was Goodfellas. I could watch that over and over. He was amazing

De Niro on whether he'll ever get tired of being famous for playing gangsters: "Those characters are more exciting. People like to watch and identify with them in some ways. It's a fantasy."
The duo play a pair of veteran New York City police detectives on the trail of a vigilante serial killer in this psychological thriller directed by Jon Avnet.

50 Cent on De Niro: "I get a chance to feel normal when I'm around Robert. His celebrity is so strong that I get a chance to feel like a normal person for a little bit. People get nervous around him."

50 Cent on his son: "My son is excited. He thinks I'm a superhero ... It's impossible for him to miss me, because if he went through his regular day, there'd be references to me around, whether it's music or when he goes to school and his school knows 50 Cent is his dad."

50 Cent on whether it's okay to play a gangster: "Actors are imitating life. That exists. People who don't actually follow the rules. So for an actor to create a project to show people what actually happens, that's cool."

De Niro on whether it's okay to play a gangster: "Movies are like dreams, an expression of people's subconscious, what they feel, what they would want to do but wouldn't do ... And we all know the difference between reality and fiction."

Now ya'll know 50 Cent had Aunt Viv's head all messed up, and now Elise says she was on that Magic Stick too...
“Right now we’re really just cool, but it would be the understatement of the year for me to say it was always just that. “We’re friends enough to where he knows that if we’re doing something I’m not gonna go run and tell. That’s not my personality.”

It's official, 'Ye knocked it out of the park in first week sales...Coming in with the number one spot over 50 Cent. Both had impressive sales for first week, but you know 50 is about pull a 'Ye move and pitch a fit..
Kanye West's "Graduation" (Def Jam) easily leads the star-studded class of Sept. 11 releases, posting The Billboard 200's largest sales total in more than two years. Nielsen SoundScan will show West's album moved 957,000 during its first six days when the tracking service refreshes its charts tomorrow morning (Sept. 19).

Also pumping album volume are 50 Cent's "Curtis" (G-Unit/Interscope), which will lock down the No. 2 slot with 691,000 sold. Kenny Chesney's "Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates" (BNA/Sony BMG Nashville) will bow at No. 3 with 387,000 copies. [SOURCE]

And their off...the "Clash of the Titans," as BET dubbed it, began and early reports say that Kanye West is outselling 50 Cent...
It looks like 50 Cent is headed for retirement, if store reports continue to trend the way they were by mid-afternoon today (Sept. 11). 50 Cent had told SOHH.com that he would quit the rap game if his new G-Unit/Interscope album, "Curtis," was outsold by Kanye West's Def Jam set "Graduation," both of which were released today.

Sales data is finalized Sunday at midnight when the Nielsen SoundScan week officially ends, but early indications are that West will be the victor, at least in the first week.

According to executives with three of the major labels, whose job duties include projecting first week scans based on early store sales reports, "Graduation" could come in at the 575,000-700,000 range, while "Curtis" is being projected in the 500,000-600,000 range.

Check out the best review I've read over at MSNBC or Brian's at ConcreteLoop because I am not the Hip Hop connoisseur, I'll let you read their reviews...but I'm definitely feeling Kanye West the most...
