The amount of senseless violence that has plagued this country in the brief 2 months is unconscionable! In yet another shocking and disturbing event, the daughter of Juvenile long with her mother and older sister were murdered yesterday in Ga.
A 17-year-old was arrested Friday in the murder of his mother, a Gwinnett County sheriff's deputy, and his two sisters.

Anthony Tyrone Terrell is charged with killing his mother, Joy Deleston, and his sisters Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4.

Police spokeswoman Corporal Illana Spellman said the motive for the killings is still under investigation. Terrell was taken to jail in neighboring DeKalb County to avoid any potential conflict because Deleston worked for Gwinnett County, Spellman said. He is being held without bail.

Spellman said she could not confirm whether Deleston's service weapon was used in the fatal shootings or if investigators recovered the gun used in the killings. She said she did not know if there were any prior police calls to the home. A neighbor called police Thursday night when she heard gunshots and a bullet came through the wall of her house.

Officers who responded realized the bullet came from the deputy's house at 415 Madison Chase Drive and saw the deputy's marked patrol vehicle in the driveway, said Gwinnett County police spokesman David Schiralli. When they investigated they found the bodies of the deputy and her daughters.

"They knew a deputy lived there, so they knocked at the door to see if everybody was all right," Schiralli said. "There was no answer, but lights were on. They opened the door a little bit to announce themselves. That's when they saw the 11-year-old."

She was just inside the front door. The deputy's body was further inside the house. The 4-year-old was discovered in an upstairs bedroom. [READ MORE]
Condolences to the families affected by this tragic event. It's hard to imagine the grief and amount of unanswered questions.

UPDATE: Juvenile is described as "really shocked and devastated" about the deaths, read more here.

Ah lookahere! Harlow Madden is the cutest little doodlebug! She makes her debut with mom and dad in this weeks People Magazine. Here are a few excerpts from the article.

Who was the first to cry?
Nicole: I cried right away.
Joel: Right when she came out, you know that cry that's like an internal cry where you shake a little bit? [To Harlow] You made me cry!

How did you pick the name?
Nicole: We couldn't agree. I wanted a hippie name and he wanted a more Biblical name.
Joel: I really like Jean Harlow the actress, and she likes Shalom Harlow the model. Harlow's cool because it feels like a classic name.
Nicole: And no one has it.
Joel: Winter was so serene and quiet and that's how she is.
Nicole: I always liked the name Kate, but I knew I'd never name my kid that because it was just too plain.

Do you have help at home?

Joel: We don't have a nanny. We have our moms. They've helped us a lot.
Nicole: And we have to give credit to Benji [Joel's twins brother]. He lives six houses down. He babysits, like really babysits.
Joel: There was a day when I'd been at work all day and Nicole hadn't left the house for 48 hours, and I was like, "Let's go to a restaurant down the street," and Benj was with the baby. Then someone said they read somewhere we were out all the time. It's crazy. You leave the house for one hour and eveyone's like, "She's out! She's leaving the baby!"

Is Kelly Rowland posing for Playboy? I seriously doubt it, you won't get to look at her new enhanced bust on the pages of a magazine. Word is she was offered anywhere from $500K to $1 million dollars. But her reps have quickly shot that down...

However, it doesn't hurt to have your name in the press when you have a new digital album coming out! The new album will be titled Diva Deluxe! and feature a mix of new and previously recorded songs. Which is probably more realistic than re-releasing Miss Kelly.

Cheri Dennis held an album release party for her debut In and Out of Love [Can we say 'bout damn time after 7 years] at Home in NYC, were she was getting pretty cozy with Jimmy Cozier, apparently her old man... Ya'll remember when he was extra young looking? Now, not so much. In a recent interview she shoots down bi-sexual rumors and says she has a boyfriend, so I guess it Jimmy!

EDGE: Speaking of who you’re sleeping with -- there are rumors popping up on the Internet that you’re bisexual. What’s your reaction to that?

Cheri: What is my reaction? Oh my God! Are they talking? I love it! I love it! I love it! I have a boyfriend, but I love that they talk, it’s all good. If the lesbians love me and they desire me -- beautiful! If the gay men want to be my homegirl or want to be me, it doesn’t matter to me -- that’s beautiful! If they think I’m bisexual -- great! As long as they think I make good music -- whatever! [READ MORE]

More details are being blabbed about the budding romance between Ri-Ri and Chris Brown. If you're going to fly all the way to her home island, you have to meet the parents and family. But Breezy wasn't so cool about it, word is he was a bit nervous.
“Rihanna is very close to her family,” the pal tells OK!. “But she knew they loved Chris as much as she does.”

That didn’t stop one of her brothers from giving the “Kiss Kiss” singer a hard time. “He told Chris that PDA was tacky and said he may be a little too short for his sister!” Still, the pal adds, “Chris loved seeing all the pictures in Rihanna’s family home of her winning Miss Combermere, [a local beauty pageant she won at 16], lounging on the beach and singing in local clubs. He cares about Rihanna. Things have started really heating up from friends to something more.”

My My My...Tracey just had to fire back at Johnny Gill after he basically blamed the split on her disdain for Eddie's mama. So she called Doug Banks and said she was under "gag order" [that damn Eddie Murphy confidentiality agreement] and left the below statement:
"I was very shocked and disappointed to hear of Johnny Gill's false spin on the chain of events surrounding our wedding. His outrageous lies were clearly a very desperate and pathetic attempt to clean up his reputation at my expense. I would appreciate it if Mr. Gill would refrain from continuing to spread false gossip and lies to the public, and allow everyone involved to move on with their lives. We all know the real truth." 80s babies stand up! I had to post this after JAMMING this in my car today like "Damn, I haven't heard Pebbles in 50-11 years!"

To believe
Or not to believe
That is the question
It just takes a street degree
You've lied your last lie
And I've cried my last cry
I'm out the door, baby
There's other fish in the sea

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us ...in the TV-show inspired kind of way.

Ashanti says that she put out the previously posted version of her single "The Way That I Love You," to send a buzz out and see reactions, but says that a new video that premieres tomorrow is the official version.

The storyline was inspired by the Oxygen Channel's show "Snapped" about women that snap usually killing her husband...
"It's something completely different than anything I've ever done before," Ashanti said of the video. "We're kind of basing the concept on a show called 'Snapped,' which is on the Oh! channel. It's about women who have gotten pushed to the [point] where they feel, I guess, [that it's] necessary to murder their husbands, boyfriends, what have you. It's actually a documentary like [Tru] TV's 'Forensic Files,' but this one is only for women; when women snap they do crazy things. So being that the record is so dramatic and so painful and emotional, I think that the concepts just married each other and it was amazing. The director, Kevin Bray, just brought different twists and different angles out of it, and it was a great thing."

Rihanna and Chris Brown were spotted canoodling in the pool during a Jamaican getaway...Sweet, eh? I think they are just adorable together, I have no reason to hate on it. Funny thing is, I just had yet another conversation earlier today about her overly affectionate behavior toward Jay Z during the Grammys. My eye spy witness says it was almost embarrassing...

Apparently, being affectionate is her thing?!
The Grammy winner, who was thrown a big birthday bash by Chris for her 20th birthday last week, was all over her younger man. "They were smooching in the pool and were really lovely dovey," the PageSix.com spy told us exclusively. "They were playfully making out and he was kissing her on the neck."

The attractive pair, who got matching star tattoos on their necks in January, got in the pool after a leisurely lunch yesterday at the Hilton Kingston Hotel in Jamaica. They were hanging out with friends and at about 3 p.m., Chris, 18, jumped into the water and waited while Rihanna went to her room and changed into a bikini.

She came back and was very scared of getting her hair wet, said the spy. "They were floating together with him carrying her and she kept saying, 'Don't get my hair wet.' She was very soft and feminine but he was a big kid and splashing around."

The couple arrived in Jamaica together on Friday from Rihanna's native Barbados for the Smile Jamaica Africa Unite Bob Marley celebration in St. Mary, where she performed.

So it's pretty apparent these two are an item, so let the daily watch begin, right about...now. We have to come out with some compound name for the little lovebirds!

Stopped for speeding, Maryland State Police claimed "there was a visual observation of marijuana on his person, on his front shirt and that coupled with the odor of marijuana, Mr. Grymes was arrested for that." A "nominal amount" of weed was also found in the car's center console. Three of the guys were charged, though police say they were cooperative. A misdemeanor charge comes with a possible one year in jail and $1,000 fine.

She just walked the Fall/Winter 2008-2009 Prada show in Milan. Congratulations to her but a BIG WTF at Prada! The 90s...*SMH*

Jourdan voiced her concerns about the lack of diversity on the runway with Thisislondon.co.uk:
“London’s not a white city so why should our catwalks be so white? I go to castings and see several black and Asian girls, then I get to the show and look around and there’s just me and maybe one other coloured face. They just don’t get picked. I hope it’s because the designer just didn’t think they were good enough as a model but I don’t know.”

I was watching some of my stock piled episodes of Ellen and as always she introduced the world to a bright young star that makes you drop your jaw... Meet Kiara Nowlin, a world champion tumbler and she's only in the 7th grade.

She been tumbling since she was 4 years old and has the skill of a world class athlete already. She is so impressive that she's been offered college scholarships as young as 9 years old! I watch in amazement as she flipped and twisted her little body. I have always been a fan of gymnastics [can we say Dominique Dawes! I totally wanted to be her.] And note to parents, this is how you keep your babies out of trouble, get them active.

Learn more about Kiara and see more of her videos on her official website! I am sure we will see her at the Olympics very soon!

...I really don't have the patience to follow Kells and his never ending trials but since this young chick decided top speak on it, I thought it was worthy of a post...

So remember last year when R. Kelly's publicist, Regina Daniels, quit because she said he "crossed the line?" Well rumors began to float that it was over her step daughter and just last week her husband, George Daniels confirmed the rumors on the radio saying that took advantage of their daughter, Maxine. He claims that Kells "set a trap" when he financed her college and spent money on her.

So R. Kelly came back with a rebuttal saying that Regina knew and encouraged it...
The fact is that they had no problem with the relationship -- indeed, they encouraged it -- while Ms. Daniels was on Mr. Kelly's payroll.

It was Regina Daniels, then working as a publicist for Mr. Kelly, who persuaded him to attend her step-daughter's 21st birthday party.
Now Maxine is giving her side of the story. She personally came to the office at the Sun-Times, and in her first-ever interview said:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
"The statement that was issued by R. Kelly's camp to TMZ, which I interpreted as an attempt to defame Regina and George Daniels, my dad and stepmom, has made it necessary for me to respond to some of those accusations: I take full responsibility for my actions. My stepmother and father didn't know about my relationship with the singer because I knew and he knew that they wouldn't approve ... so I tried to keep it a secret, but when my stepmother found out about our relationship, she resigned because she felt that Rob had 'crossed the line' by dating a girl that he has known since she was 7 years old. My stepmom was not fired for incompetence. She was Rob's publicist for 14 years and always considered Rob not just a client ... but family. And Rob thought of my dad like a father.

Continue reading for her full statement to the Chicago Sun-Times...

"I am 21, smart and will be graduating from college this year, but I admit that I was swept up by his charming and generous ways, which I truly regret and have learned from. My brief relationship with Kelly last year ended because my parents were starting to hear rumors that we were together, and I was beginning to feel like it wasn't a healthy situation, especially with the pain it was causing me and my family," Maxine said. "I felt that it just wasn't right. Also, in reference to my birthday party, which was held last spring, Regina did not push Rob to host the party. We both asked him ... and he readily agreed."

"In regards to the cell phone number, Regina didn't give me Rob's number and she didn't ask me not to tell my dad. Rob personally slipped me his number at another event and that is how we started talking. The Internet has been rampant with all sorts of rumors for months now and hopefully this will clear things up. I admit I made a mistake and I know I am not the first young adult to make a serious misjudgment." [SOURCE]

By his own producer, Polow Da Don…

"I actually leaked it," Polow admitted to MTV. "I told him when I saw him that I had to put my relationship on the line." Polow offered an apology for the leak when Usher called him, but he doesn’t think it was all bad. "Everything has to be set up on their end," he said. "A video should be in place with an artist like that as soon as it drops. Those are the things you risk, but it's working out beautifully. Flex is playing it, DJ Clue, DJ Khaled, Greg Street. Girls love it."

The radio has been playing this new track, “Love in This Club” which features Young Jeezy. Is the risk going to pay off? I don’t know, I am not jumping up and down over this new record and I am not a fan of Jeezy nor the 16 bars that everyone throws on an R&B track to make it marketable. Usher doesn’t need all that, though I firmly believe that his new wife and family status f’ed up his whole marketing. He went from young, hot and single to married with children with in a year, that a huge stumbling block. I hear the project has even been pushed back to 2009…

However Ursh still wants you to buy it when it comes out. "As you know, this has been a very tumultuous year for me, so I have a lot of great stories to tell. But more than that, as far as music and the contribution I wanna make, I wanna make sure it's very wide. You're gonna get a great variety on this album, and I promise to make the wait worthwhile. I been looking around like, 'Man, I better get back on my A game'."

Anyway, check out the track, which the beat sounds slightly like the soundtrack to an 80’s teen movie to me.

Usher ft. Young Jeezy - "Love in This Club"

And to kill it all…he ends with “Crank that.”

Just when you thought the Hot Boys, well Lil Wayne, B.G., Juvenile and Mannie Fresh that is, were gonna make it together again for the first time in years...Not this time! Shot fired, three hit outside Club Dream kind of puts a damper on things.

Two 24-year-old women and a 26-year-old man were shot outside the venue by an unknown gunman at around 12:57 a.m. on Monday.

According to police, the victims were standing on the sidewalk and began running when they heard gunshots. The three were quickly taken to a local hospital, where their injuries were said to be not life-threatening; the venue was closed and the event canceled.

At press time, local police said they have no suspects or motive in the shooting.

None of the MCs had arrived at the venue by the time of the shooting. MTV News caught up with Wayne not long after the incident. He seemed optimistic that the Hot Boys reunion could be rescheduled, saying that it's "only a phone call away."

The reunion was planned to be a cap on this year's NBA All-Star Weekend. [SOURCE]

Deelishis is showing of her new man, who some say is on the DL, on the March 2008 cover of Sister 2 Sister Magazine where she dishes on her new found love and says Flav left for the money...

Jamie: Are you in a relationship with anyone now?
Deelishis: I am.

Jamie: Is he known or not known?
Deelishis: No, he’s not known. He’s a very nice gentleman that I met by chance. It was really nice. I was actually doing a promotional event at home, in Detroit, and I met him.

Jamie: What does he do?
Deelishis: He owns a club, he owns a real estate company, and he also owns a landscaping company. He has a few little businesses. He’s very smart.

Jamie: He’s young?
Deelishis: Yeah, he’s young [27 years old]. One thing about him that I really like is that he supports my career.

Jamie: So let me ask you this: were you ever in love with Flav?
Deelishis: I was in love with the idea of being in love with him. I liked him a lot... Flav decided that he’d rather risk my friendship and the possibility of a serious, long-term relationship for the opportunity to do something with 51 Minds Entertainment and VH1. And he didn’t go about it the right way.

Holding on to that last 30 seconds of her 15 minutes...I'm not saying he's fruity, but he does look a little Jonathan Plummer-esque!

UPDATE: Deelishis posted a long Myspace rant to tell the “truth” about FOL2 and how the relationship was a sham from jump *GASP* and that her new boo isn’t batting for both teams…

Well I do believe it is time to answer THE question. I did not want to expose our situation completely, as I assumed the truth would come to light in its own time. I thought it’d be the best thing for him. But seeing how he so blatently disregarded the truth in order to legitimize his way into your homes for a third season, I must be real with you and speak up for the truth and myself!

Continue reading to see the full Myspace Blog…

No I did not leave Flav to sell blue jeans, I didn’t leave Flav at all. Honestly William Drayden and I were never really a couple, for the day I won, inevitably was the day I loss. Fearing that the show was all a stage to entertain, I often ask Flav, “Is this real or are you just having fun” He was always calm and with a sincere and straight face replied, “Yes this is real, and I do wanna have you in my life”. Now many of you may say I was being naive to believe in a reality love affair, but at the time it felt right. This was Flavor Flav from Public Enemy, he is an older man and knows better than to play games. I thought life is short, take a chance and enjoy your opportunity to love. But love is not what Flav wanted, at least not when it came time to renew his reality show contract. He had a choice, sign up for a new season or stick it out with Dee. But he didn’t think twice. After I won the show and the reunion was taped, Flav distanced himself from me. He changed his number and was advised to cut all ties, or he would ruin the possibilities of a third season. In the meantime, I wanted more than to be known as Flavs girlfriend with the Big Butt. I have gifts that are beyond what you see on the outside. I wanted more for myself and my child. I appreciate the appreciation of my physique, and all of the opportunities to grace these wonderful sexy men magazines, but then what?!!! I had been tailoring and altering my own personal clothes since forever due to my bodytype, so when the opportunity arose to design, style and tailor jeans for women abroad, I put my best foot forward and handled my BUSINESS, ALONE! I did it without Flav not because I left him, I did it without Flav because he WAS NOT THERE!!! How can you leave someone who was never there? I am a single mom, who has the right to take care of business by all means necessary! And as women, we now know that we don’t have to wait on no MAN to handle our business! I did not compromise my character nor his, nor our relationship by starting my own entrepreneurship. A real man would have been right there by my side the entire time. So I started my own business, but how does that add up to leaving him? It doesnt. He lied! But its all good…his loss. A man who walks away without care or concern was never true to begin with. And yes I do have someone new in my life right now. However loving who I’m with now, doesn’t mean I never loved Flav, it means God decided I was good enough to truly be loved by someone even after Flav and all the bullsh I had encountered. Someone who loves me unconditionally, with or without a camera or some TV show. Someone who won’t leave me for a check and a chance at ratings. And no dissrespect to Flav. Obviously he had to do what he thought was best for him, and at the same time, so did I. He says we were a bad batch of women, and that this time around he doesnt want a girl who’s gonna be famous off of him, well here’s a suggestion Flav…don’t date on national television, cause everyone on that show is going to inherit some kind of fame. So there it is, the truth. I hope I’ve answered your questions and concerns. Oh and as for the new love in my life, yes its real, its honest and its healthy…and before any of the hating begins (yall know the haters cannot wait to try and tear this union to shreds) no he don’t beat me! no I didn’t mess with him while I was with Flav! And hell to the naw, he aint got a GAY bone in his body, so please don’t start with the dumb shit lol. and no we are NOT engaged…yet. Now that we’ve got them rumors out the way, like my homie Katt Williams say, “We gone keep it pushin round here lol”

Tyra Banks covers this week's Entertainment Weekly were they highlight her move from model to media mogul. Is it just me, or do you now critique all of Tyra's photos like a judge on ANTM would? Hmmm well, check out some excerpts of the interview after the jump...

Tyra on Oparh:
”Oprah Winfrey is a mogul. Martha Stewart is a mogul. I’m probably a mogul in the making. I’m almost there.”

Tyra on her childhood in Inglewood:
”I used to want to write commercials as a kid,” ”I used to tell my mom, ‘Mom, they didn’t end the commercial right. They should have ended it on the burger, ’cause they’re trying to sell the burger, and they ended on the lady’s face and I don’t even remember if it’s McDonald’s or Wendy’s anymore.”’

Tyra on her mother’s words of wisdoms:
”Even as a model I used to think ‘brand,””’My mom always told me, ‘Plan for the end at the beginning. You’re gonna have to retire really early like an athlete, and then what are you gonna do after?”’ ”So I always looked at it knowing that there was something after.”

At this point you just can't be surprise by Gnarls Barkley...The more pictures the better because I love their off beat humor and artistry. Plus the music is hot! That always helps.

The Odd Couple, literally, have hooked up with the video team Happy to direct the video for their first single "Run." Their second single, ""Who's Gonna Save My Soul," is being directed by Chris Milk, who is also responsible for Kanye West's "Touch the Sky" and Jesus Walks."

Look for the crazy duo in a city near you as they plan to hit the music festivals this summer. The Odd Couple will be out April 8th.

Do you love it? I like it. Very soft and serene, though I thought they would play off the title of the album, Welcome to the Dollhouse. Something isn't right with Shannon's facial expression though, looks over retouched and Aubrey and Andrea's eyes too...but maybe I'm nitpicking. Anyway check out some of their recent interviews out promoting the new season.

That was a quick turn around...Ashanti has released the video for her new single "The Way That I Love You," which she shot last week in L.A. The video is a bit dramatic, maybe more than the actual vocal of the song, but is was well directed. But seriously, the circled numbers on phone bills brought back some memories...LOL.

I wasn't going to believe it until I heard some kind of official word from CW and, well, it came...and I am thoroughly disappointed! Good thing I tuned in Monday to see this week's episodes.

Due to costs, the CW decided to cut the show short and end the series. Here is the statement released by CW rep, Melissa Burton:
"The prolonged strike has changed business conditions and our programming strategy for the balance of the 2007/08 season. To better focus its creative and financial resources, The CW will only resume production on shows that are in consideration for renewal next year. As a result, we will not order additional episodes of the long-running comedy, `Girlfriends,' which planned to conclude its 8-year run at the end of this season. This was a very difficult decision for us, and was based solely on the considerable cost to license each episode in an extremely unusual business environment.

The affection, appreciation and respect for the show's accomplishments and the talents of the artists could not be greater. 'Girlfriends' was a landmark comedy that helped anchor important nights for both The CW and UPN, and proved to be one of the most enduring and popular shows in TV history with African-American viewers.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for eight great seasons from creator Mara Brock Akil, stars Tracee Ellis Ross, Golden Brooks, Persia White, Jill Marie Jones, Reggie Hayes, Khalil Kain, Keesha Sharp and all the cast, crew and production who have worked on the show. We are in discussions with Mara and the cast to bring closure to the show and its fans with a retrospective special to air this season." [SOURCE]
I think it is pretty shady that the CW dropped its most popular show, after they continuously shifted its time slot, and poured money into horrible shows like "Aliens in America" and "Reaper." They could have saved that money to show the one consistent hit they've had some due respect. I feel horrible for Mara Brock Akil and all the actors.

Buffoonery at its best... Gary Coleman says he's been "secretly" married since last year to a 22-year old chick named Shannon Price.
Coleman tells INSIDE EDITION the couple married secretly on August 28, 2007 on a Nevada mountaintop after meeting on the set of one of Coleman’s movies. The ceremony was extremely intimate. Coleman says, “Nobody was around but the minister, preacher, the videographers, the photographer, the helicopter pilot and us. That was all that was there. There was nobody else.”

Price, who actually proposed to Coleman, tells INSIDE EDITION he surprised her with their wedding on her 22nd birthday. “I didn’t know that I was going to be in a helicopter ride and seeing the Grand Canyon and getting married in the Valley of Fire. I had no clue,” says the blushing bride. “I mean I knew that we were getting married, but I thought it would be just a little chapel.”
It can't be the money, 'cause dude have been selling ish on eBay for the last few months...Maybe that's where they met? LOL.

Barack Obama has come and swept the Potomac primaries in Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. taking an even wider lead in delegates by over a hundred delegates.
With 168 delegates at stake on Tuesday, Obama was set to build on the lead that he has gained in the past week in NBC News' delegate count over Clinton, who, according to her aides, is now depending on victories the big states of Ohio and Texas in her struggle to keep up in a race she once commanded.

Clinton's campaign manager resigned over the weekend, and NBC News confirmed Tuesday a Washington Post report that deputy campaign manager Mike Henry resigned Monday. A source told NBC that Henry was leaving to allow new campaign manager Maggie Williams to organize her own team. [SOURCE]

I thought I was done with the Grammys, but people really want the drama to continue...

The new buzz this that Jay Z and Rihanna had a heated argument at the Entertainment Weekly after party, some spies saying she was spotted crying.

There are a number of stories going around that Rihanna was pissy that Jay didn't speak to her and her rumored boo, Chris Brown when he and Beyonce arrived, so she went to read him the riot act. Then, some say Jay Z was none-to-pleased that she was canoodling with Breezy in the party or that he was reading her the riot act for "embarrassing" him with the hugs at the Grammys.

The above questionable pic of Jay and Ri Ri, it's just a millisecond in time so I wouldn't base anything in that...Nonetheless, I must to post the juicy stuff.

Lenny Kravitz was admitted to the hospital in Miami suffering from severe bronchitis, a spokeswoman for the singer said.

The 43-year-old musician had been suffering from a series of severe respiratory tract infections in tandem with the flu since mid-January, and the illness has evolved into bronchitis.

"Due to extreme dehydration and fatigue, doctors were unable to control it with outpatient treatment and advised the singer to check into the hospital. He was taken this morning to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami for immediate treatment," the spokeswoman said in a statement.

His illness forced him to postpone a trip to Europe to promote his album "It Is Time For a Love Revolution," which was released last week. [SOURCE]

No good thing goes without drama, why would the Grammys be any different?

The biggest buzz being what has been called an "awkward" moment between Jay-Z and Rihanna as she won her Grammy for Best Rap Collaboration. From Jay-Z pulling his hand from her, to looking back at Beyonce, to Solonge giving the evil eye.

Now my inside spy who attended the show did say that their was more than the eye can see between the two...
If you don't think Ri Ri and Jay are doing it, u got another thing coming! Lotta weird stuff happening off camera he had no control over. She's real touchy feely.
Hmmm... I still think the acceptance speech thing is being over-analyzed, I didn't see anything that people are talking about. It seems to get less awkward the more times I look at it, they even embrace as they leave the stage. I don't know, I really get the feeling that they have a big bro/lil sis relationship. You can decide for yourself, check out the actual footage.

Unfortunately, the drama didn't end there for Rihanna, as she ended her Grammy night in a car accident after leaving a post-show party. No injuries, just a bit shaken up.

Now, Jay Z was caught up in some rumblings, as word hit the curb that he was seen leaving with some woman other than Ay Bey Bey... But as you can see was was spotted partying with his lady after the show.

To top off the Grammy drama, Natalie Cole felt compelled to rain on Amy Winehouse's parade saying that she didn't' deserve to perform and win due to her recent drug troubles, since so many other talented sober ladies were out there...

"I'm sorry. I think the girl is talented, gifted, but it's not right for her to be able to have her cake and eat it too.

"She needs to get herself together ... this is about discipline and hard work, and you don't get to just do your drugs and go onstage and get rewarded."

Cole had no complaints with Winehouse's Grammys performance, which was beamed to Los Angeles via satellite from London.

"Her performance was fine," Cole said.

"I don't take anything away from her talent, but I just feel like she's stepping into a place that she hasn't earned yet."

Winehouse was the star of Sunday's show, scooping five awards -- including the coveted record of the year, song of the year and best new artist.

Cole however said she would have preferred to see R'n'B stars Beyonce or Rihanna rewarded instead of Winehouse.

"I just feel like they're ready to go the long haul. You can tell how hard they work, they're great people, their heart is in the right place.

"These are the people we should be praising, these are the people we should be encouraging."

This is slightly hypocritical if you ask me, because Natalie has battled her own demons. Plus, if anything, I think Amy's performance was a testament of her struggle to get sober. I mean you could actually understand 92% of her words and she was able to make it through the whole performance without falling down. That is progress, people!

On top of that, I can guarantee that Amy isn't the only crack connoisseur at the Grammys...

Amy Winehouse and her jazzy background dancers!

The 50th Annual Grammy Awards was more about the performances and emotional moments than the actual awards this year. As suspected a renewed Amy Winehouse was the big winner of the night, taking home top honors in 5 categories, record of the year, best new artist, song of the year, pop vocal album and female pop vocal performance, the most of the night. Kanye West followed with 4 awards, taking home best rap album for “Graduation,” best solo performance for “Stronger,” best rap song for “Good Life” and best rap performance by a duo or group for his collaboration with Common on “Southside.” SEE THE FULL LIST OF WINNERS

While Kanye was accepting the best rap album trophy, the orchestra tried to play him off the stage as he began speaking about his mother.

“It would be in good taste to stop the music,” West said — and the music stopped.

“I know you’re really proud of me right now and I know you want me to be the No. 1 artist in the world and Mama,” West continued, “all I’m going to do is keep making you proud. We run this.”

The crowning moment came when they captured Amy Winehouse's emotional reaction to winning record of the year, where she was immediately embraced by her band, then her mother and father.

If you missed any of the performances, I got you covered, check out video of Amy's reaction, Rihanna, and The Time, Beyonce and Tina Turner, Kanye West and more after the jump!

Amy Winehouse Accepts Grammy

Beyonce and Tina Turner, Part 1

I absolutely loved her intro, that was hot! As you can see she debuted a new shaggy haircut, undoubtedly for the occasion. Tina Turner is jaw dropping great on stage, she still has it after all these years and still has those legs to match! No outshining her this night.

Beyonce and Tina Turner, Part 2

Kanye West with Daft Punk - Stronger

Can we say intense!? Kanye West never disappoints with his performances, he put 200% into this performance. The "flashing lights" and Daft Punk cameo made his performance one of the hottest of the night!

Kanye West - Hey Mama

Don't say I didn't warn you. His performance of Hey Mama, was almost too hard to watch. I am sure those that have lost a parent felt the emotion just as strongly. I had my tissue handy, I knew it would be a pretty emotionally charged moment.

Rihanna ft. The Time - Umbrella/Please Don't Stop the Music

Nothing bad to say, Rihanna seems to be really working on her live performances. The Time are classics so it only made her set that much more hot!

Alicia Keys - No One

Miss Keys does her thing everytime she hits the stage, working those tights! That song will alway be in a key that is unflattering for her voice, but she more about the music and performance...

Alicia Keys - Opening with Frank Sinatra

Fergie ft. John Legend - Finally

Aretha Franklin, BeBe Winans, Clark Sisters, Trinitee 5:7, Isreal & The New Breed - Gospel Medley

Carrie Underwood - Before He Cheats

This song never gets old...Love me some Carrie!

KanYe West will pay tribute to his mother, Dr. Donda West, during his performance on the Grammy Awards this weekend.
Three months after his mother's sudden death, Kanye West is planning an emotional tribute performance at the Grammy Awards.

The rapper – who's up for eight nominations, including album of the year and rap album of the year for Graduation – has not been officially announced as a performer for the Feb. 10 awards show.

But an insider tells PEOPLE that West, 30, had a rehearsal at the Staples Center Thursday afternoon, performing a moving medley of his hits "Stronger" and "Hey Mama."
I hope he adds Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" because his background singer ills it. His first return to stage after the passing of Dr. West was a heart wrenching moment that brought many to tears.

The statement didn't say why her application was rejected. The U.S. Embassy in London and the State Department in Washington declined to comment late Thursday. [SOURCE]

The legendary Robert DeNiro and 50 Cent, who will co-star in the upcoming film Righteous Kill with Al Pacino cover the March "Hollywood Issue" issue of Vibe Magazine. Shot in January by celebrity photographer Jake Chessum at New York City's famed Milk Studios, the magazine's exclusive photos are styled by veteran Vibe Fashion Director Memsor Kamarake. De Niro is in Giorgio Armani and 50 Cent in head-to-toe Tom Ford.

The issue features a double cover [see the other cover and quotes after the jump] and features a rare interview with DeNiro who speaks highly of 50...
"Curtis, he's ... he's got good instincts," Mr. De Niro tells VIBE when asked what advice he would give to the superstar about acting. 50 Cent goes on to talk about his admiration for De Niro's work. "I grew up watching his movies ... One of my favorites was Goodfellas. I could watch that over and over. He was amazing

De Niro on whether he'll ever get tired of being famous for playing gangsters: "Those characters are more exciting. People like to watch and identify with them in some ways. It's a fantasy."
The duo play a pair of veteran New York City police detectives on the trail of a vigilante serial killer in this psychological thriller directed by Jon Avnet.

50 Cent on De Niro: "I get a chance to feel normal when I'm around Robert. His celebrity is so strong that I get a chance to feel like a normal person for a little bit. People get nervous around him."

50 Cent on his son: "My son is excited. He thinks I'm a superhero ... It's impossible for him to miss me, because if he went through his regular day, there'd be references to me around, whether it's music or when he goes to school and his school knows 50 Cent is his dad."

50 Cent on whether it's okay to play a gangster: "Actors are imitating life. That exists. People who don't actually follow the rules. So for an actor to create a project to show people what actually happens, that's cool."

De Niro on whether it's okay to play a gangster: "Movies are like dreams, an expression of people's subconscious, what they feel, what they would want to do but wouldn't do ... And we all know the difference between reality and fiction."

This isn't exactly new, but an unreleased song with a new title...When it originally leaked it was "A Love of Your Own" which was a J. Holiday fan favorite. As he said in our exclusive interview [remember where you heard it first] it made it's way to the Deluxe Edition of Back of My Lac, which was released earlier this week.

I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it! It's very reminiscent of an early 90s Jodeci slow jam, with the soul of the original Average White Band's "A Love of Your Own."

Janet Jackson talks growing up under the strict Jehovah Witness household with Joe and Mother and bringing her to see Prince and The Time...
"When I was 16, I was promoting my first album and I went with Mother to see The Time’s concert with Prince. I did not want to sit next to Mother because I knew they were dirty. I was trying to be cool and calm, but oh my God, I was sweating bullets! How am I going to sit at this show and watch Vanity Six and Prince and The Time and sit next to Mother?” She laughs. “She’s going to think, ‘Good Lord, what is my baby into? She really needs more of God in her life! Where did I go wrong?’ I could just hear Mother blaming herself for everything! Luckily, I got someone else to swap seats with me so I was able to enjoy the show and have the same great time I would’ve had if I were there without Mother."

Here's a little of what she had to say about her highly-publicized romances:

"I know about the backlash, the 'Erykah Badu, if you look at her, she’ll make you change gods and wear crochet pants' backlash," she says. "But nobody looks at the things that those people have given to me."

What have they given you?

"Just so much musical freedom. Common is the most humble person I ever met. Kind and generous. He reinforced that in me. Andre is very creative and artistic. All of that that you see of him, that’s all him. That’s how he is, and that gave me a creative push, too."

Although Badu is fairly cryptic when discussing her old beaus, she allows this brief, whispered indulgence.

"With Andre, we were both very young, so we didn’t know what we wanted or anything. We just knew we were in love, and we didn’t care who saw us. With Common, it was a little bit more mature."
You'll have to pick up a copy of the magazine to read more about Erykah Badu's life, music, and love... But you can check more of her great photoshoot at GiantMag.com.

Barak Obama is gaining support fromsome of the most notable celebs as Will.I.Am released the "Yes We Can" song in support of Obama campaign for President. With vocals from Will, John Legend, and [pleasantly surprising] Tatyana Ali, among others.

According to will.i.am, founding member and frontman of Black Eyed Peas, the "Yes We Can Song" was inspired by Senator Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign and especially the speech Obama gave following the New Hampshire primary. He states, "It made me reflect on the freedoms I have, going to school where I went to school, and the people that came before Obama like Martin Luther King, presidents like Abraham Lincoln that paved the way for me. . . ." Dylan says, "The speech was inspiring about making change in America and I believe what it says and I hope everybody votes."

The music video includes excerpts from Obama's speech and appearances from several celebrities: Scarlett Johansson, John Legend, Herbie Hancock, Kate Walsh, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Adam Rodriquez, Kelly Hu, Adam Rodriquez, Amber Valetta, and Nick Cannon. "I'm blown away by how many people wanted to come and be a part of it in a short amount of time. It was all out of love and hope for change and really representing America and looking at the world," will.i.am said.
